Clucas looked very sharp when he came on Saturday, like many under the new manager, he may have stepped up his game to a new level. In fairness he always looks half decent when he comes on as a sub.......

If Smallbone is out then I hope we see Thompson come in with Baker pushed up to play the most attacking midfield role. I’ve got a horrible feeling Clucas will start. Clucas injured again also. Ha, what a waste of money. Always injured, mostly crap when he isn’t. Only affects games when playing against old clubs.

Would they make that much difference though. Souttar would come in for Jagielka who’s been brilliant lately anyway. Tymon would be an improvement on Fox but he hasn’t looked all that bad either. We’d still most likely have lost today.

We’d still most likely have lost today. It’s a strange one as you say maybe a back 3 of Soutter, Jags and Wilmott who’s also been pretty good recently have Tymon LWB and Fosu LW. Something like Bursic Wilmott Harry Jags Sterling Laurent Baker Tymon Gayle Brown Fosu

I'm not sure Tymon is any better than Fox in a back four, but if we choose 3 at the back Tymon is a useful player at this level.

Fox probably has the edge defensively but Tymon is a far better attacking outlet. He’ll need games to get used to a 4 and improve defensively but he’s already miles ahead of Fox and still fairly young

Laurent a doubt for tomorrow took a knock today in training earlier on, Clucas out. Other than that looking good on the injury front.

What is with all the injuries the last few years in the squad? Seems like an epidemic. Is there unicorn 🦄 piss in the water down at Clayton woods?

I think Fox has dramatically improved under Neil. He's been played in his natural position where he's comfortable in this league. He's been one of the better ones since the change of manager so fair play to him.

Heard some surprising bits today… Souttar & Fox we’re not in the starting shape today (haven’t a clue why possibly injured or tactical). Clucas needs back surgery. A change of formation for tomorrow with a back 4.

Both Tymon and Fosu down the left could be interesting.
Probably sensible to be cautious with Souttar.

A change of formation for tomorrow with a back 4. Fox was struggling at the end the other night with injury/ cramp I think. Let’s hope the Baggies scouts are not reading your info🤔
