The new recruits for the U18s haven't been announced yet so this is my best guess with that I've seen so far as to who the first years are. The second years are just copied over from last year. So in some cases the player may have left because there's some there that I'm sure didn't play last year. U18 Squad

There might be a few more signings based on loans out? There's a few that could do with a loan from the U21 side tbh. Hopefully Jones and Sparrow can get league clubs. I guess the counter argument could be that they are the ones left after the two big boys have their pick but even so they have lots of options beside Stoke. |

That's quite a big number and interesting to see where there's an excess of players and where there isn't.
There's room for another u23 keeper.
There's a lack of central midfielders in general but I think for the U18s that will be supplemented by Sol Sidibe from the u16s and he might even get some u21 game time?
We've been linked with an 18 midfielder from Gillingham so he'd fit the bill to fill the gap in the U21s.
I think Lowe will be a regular in the U21s and Adam Watson is meant to be very good so will probably get time up too.

Glad he's moved. He wasn't going to cut it here and this gives him the best chance to make a decent careers in the game. Good little player and will hopefully do well.

Being a bit of a political vacuum I never thought of that. What a world we live in . It’s sad isn’t it. It might be good in the sense more English players will come through but that wasn’t an issue anyway and the current lot in the England squad all came through with the competition of the EU players. And I think alls it will do is mean our players aren’t competing with the absolute best for as much of the time and they will get used to a lower level. Bringing those better players in pushes everyone. |
