Josh has been a good competitor and gives his all.
However, Ive never seen anything in him that was an improvement on McClean. The only thing going for him being his age and potential to improve. A potential which has still not been realised.
The two have the same limitations, i.e. bull in a china shop approach to football.
Capable of the odd killer ball into the box but far too infrequent.
Good luck to him.

If it’s £2.7m then we’ve absolutely had Swansea off there.

£2.7m seems a fair deal all round.
If he gets enough game time and plays as well as he can he could be in the premier league next summer.
If he doesn't he will still be a decent full back in the championship for many years.

I'm quite happy with Josh going. Not because I thought he was a bad footballer (I actually quite rate him), more because I have a right Nigel of a moment with his surname....TieMoN...TeeMON...T'Mon

It’s a decent price but If we aren’t replacing him it’s crazy. Can’t rely on a 33 year old to play every match of the season

Great business if we've returned that much on him.
Weak link in the team for me .

Good luck to him. There have never been any disciplinary problems with JT, with McClean there was always some of one sort or another. Moreover one waa a fb/wb, the other was a winger who was misguidedly used as a fullback by, I think, Jones. There really is nothing they have in common other than having played on the left for Stoke.

So we're assuming Tymon only goes if we wrap Tchamadeu up before 11?

2.7 is decent - very decent IMO.
Quite liked Tymon as a bloke though. And must have been one of our longest-serving players. Good luck Josh!
