Yeah me too I respect him for his performances as a player for Stoke but he's so negative and slates everything Stoke do. I also don't get his love in with Sawyers.

This gentleman really winds me up with the comments he make during the game. He’s so negative all the time, depressing to listen to. Anytime we created a good chance he had nothing good to say. Always coming off with stupid bs like “Wrong decision by Maja there, he just needed to do a maradona spin followed by a rainbow flick and then volley it into the top corner from 50 yards. Needs to be much more clinical.” And then alongside that we have Nigel who by his standards had a good game today. Maybe it’s because we had less players with double barrelled names today, he always struggles with that. At least he’s now learned Browns first name is Jacob, only took 2 seasons. Much prefer listening to commentary from the opposition when possible, feel they are a bit more balanced.

He is awful and the most depressing person to listen to: Alan Hudson has often said Pejic was less than welcoming to him when he arrived at the club, shows what a good judge of a footballer he was

My favourite quote today was hearing about “the corridor of chaos” or something to that effect for every QPR free kick lol.

His understanding of football is so outdated and he's unbelievably negative.
He wont help the club to build momentum so it would be great if he could stop turning up.

He's negative to the extreme, can't listen to the bloke. I like listening to Pej. He has very high standards and expects the best all the time. Easy to understand why he was a respected coach for both Rudgey and Lou

His vocal presentation doesn’t really work well on radio but if you can get past that he really does make a lot of very valid points and you certainly cannot accuse him of sitting on the fence - he tells it exactly as he sees it , warts and all.

I don't think Pejic is unrecoverable.
Just need to hire Dyche to come smack him in the mouth. Too soon?

Truth hurts sometimes, remember he has been there done that and has more than the tee shirt. Most of his gripes are about attitude commitment and basics. They don't change.

I think he makes some quite insightful points to be honest. He can be critical but ffs has anyone been watching us this season? What do you expect?

Truth hurts sometimes, remember he has been there done that and has more than the tee shirt. Most of his gripes are about attitude commitment and basics. They don't change. Don’t think you can question attitude or commitment lately. “Basics” however, absolutely can change and have. To think otherwise is foolish. Asking players to just take on their man (even if they evidently did not have the ability/ confidence to do so) and cross at every opportunity are no longer the norm. Holding possession and keeping the ball is the modern game. I can’t admit that we’ve been great at scoring enough from doing it that way but it’s clear that’s the way we, and most other “footballing” teams, are setting up.

Pej is Stoke's answer to cricket's Geoff Boycott. A master at seeing what every player SHOULD have done. You were a great player for us, Pej, admired for your style of play and attitude to the game, so don't sour our memories of you by becoming a miserable and negataive critic. Stoke City don't need any more critics, we have them in abundance.
