£12 an hour which includes a 22% shift allowance, for a security officer, fookin scandalous, I wonder how much the big bosses are on Are you suggesting that's good money??? Just re-read it, and the following messages, and now realise that you were suggesting the opposite

It sounds shite, but is it yet another knock on of how these places/jobs have been treated for too long? Much like when they couldn't get people to drive lorries a few months ago because they were just treated as unimportant. People get wise to what's actually going on and soon think "fuck this". Surely they can't blame Covid that much, given that the rules have changed? Unless it's different for airports/aviation with the potential spreading? Like someone said above, £12.00/HR as a security officer in what I imagine is a very high pressured environment, isn't worth of getting out of bed for. May as well work at a supermarket for a bit less money and much less stress. You can guarantee the people at the top are still taking home their millions, whilst the bottom of the wrung-ers are working 12 hour shifts on minimum wage, getting all kinds of shit from dickhead passengers, like us. Its a disgraceful wage. Don’t know how people on minimum wage live. Minimum wage should be £15

Has anyone blamed Brexit yet?
I must admit this talk of airport queues threw me off guard, I didn't think we could travel anymore?

They're recruiting and then new starters will need training. You'd hope they'll be on top of it for peak season £12 an hour which includes a 22% shift allowance, for a security officer, fookin scandalous, I wonder how much the big bosses are on I’ve just read on Sky News that all the Directors pay totalled over £7m…up from £5m last year. The highest paid Director was paid £2.5m…an increase of half a million. The MD has resigned “ to pursue other opportunities down south” apparently.

Doesn't quite fit right that in my books. Keeping the poor poor. There is an awful lot of this in SOT, jealously.

He does what he does, keeps prices cheap . Other airlines are available.

Are what you pay for and if you read their restrictions which many complaining passengers don't then are ideal. Great for cheap short flights to Ireland etc . Missed my flight on Aer Lingus to Manchester a few weeks back and jumped on Ryan Air for a 10er. No hand luggage and was ideal.

The things that piss me off most about Ryanair are that they make out like you now have to pay for a specific seat, which is seemingly a bit of a con as if you check-in earlier it'll typically seat you together. No need for it. Oh and landings often feel like you've been shot out of the sky.

I use them all the time mate my best flight was £4.99 one way to Cologne I'd have stood up for that price.
