So will pretty much every glory hunting c**t watching the game in every pub in the land and every bar in the world, For that reason and that reason alone I hope Manchester win 10-0 BM Glory hunters either way surely ? Yes but like I say if you were to go into any pub or bar in the world showing the game it will be rammed with glory hunters supporting Liverpool not Manchester City. Despite their recent success there are very few Man City gloryhunters, and most of their fans, just like most of our fans, have a connection to the city they play in. The same cannot be said for Liverpool where the fans who have absolutely no connection with Merseyside outnumber those that do by thousands to one! BM

Not sure why some get upset who others support. Of course the big teams will attract more fans and if someone in the pub is s so called glory hunter then will get over it. Is about the game not them. Do people really expect those in say other countries to support teams they don't see on TV every week or so called armchair fans to follow Grimsby? The way it is and always has been. Worrying re who someone else is following over the game itself an odd way of looking at it.

BM That applies more to Man U fans than Liverpool fans apropos no connection to the City. Anyway, what's wrong with a bit of glory hunting ?

They ensure that the clubs that play in a place to which they have a connection will never be able to win anything meaningful, they ensure that the gap between the elite and the rest ever widens, they create the conditions when the elite clubs think they should run the game to their exclusive advantage and start their own closed shop super leagues. The more success these elite clubs have the more gloryhunters join on the bandwagon and the more oxygen is starved from the game as a whole. Its pissing in the wind, but I want every club that steals the oxygen from the rest to fail, I want them to lose every game they ever play, when they play each other I couldn't care less. At the moment Liverpool are such a club, Manchester City are not. BM

Man City are the new team in Africa in general the same way Liverpool were in Asia etc. Cancer of the game? No, just people I can get over and can enjoy watching football without caring about.

If all the "Glory Hunters" from Grimsby followed Grimsby, Grimsby would still be shit.

Citeh all the way for me…..I’ve always had a soft spot for them. They’ve always been in the shadow of Utd,their fans are definitely more likeable than the legions of glory hunters that “follow” the Scouse. Peter Barnes and Colin Bell,Joe Corrigan etc,I seem to have fond memories of them…not forgetting the football they play and Pep is far more likeable then Kloppppp.

Makes me a bit sad that everyone is looking forward to their favourite sporting event this weekend but nobody talks about us at WBA,golf masters,Grand National and Citeh V Liverpool or even Fail's promotion charge.Work in a place where 6000 work from all over Staffordshire so i feel i have a fair gauge of current feelings.

Biggest game in years in Prem and two of the other biggest sporting events in the calendar year. Can see why maybe West Brom v Stoke not the talk of everyone.

Great goal.
But I hate the rule that it’s not offside. The defender plays it because of the offside player. He’s interfering with play. He shouldn’t just leave it. If he does the goal doesn’t happen. Bad rule.

What this game will highlight is how both teams defences aren't all that.
Its just that for most of the season they don't get tested. When they do it highlights their weaknesses. Most are good going forward but found wanting when asked to defend.
