Good luck to the personable Irish man.
It's a regulation operation these days but anything involving a general anaesthetic is always a concern to family and friends.
Sounds like the hope is he can once again enjoy a good nights sleep, which would only serve to sharpen his decision making as we move in to a critical summer window.

Good health Sir Michael You can have it done under an epidural now, a bloke I work with said it was bizarre, one minute he just lying there and the next his leg was up by the side of his head.

Good health Sir Michael My friend had an epidural rather than general anaesthetic. Not sure I'd have liked that but a big screen is put up so you can't see anything that is going on.

Not sure I'd have liked that but a big screen is put up so you can't see anything that is going on. my lady had that done for a c section when young miss flea79 was removed from her i went round too see her which took me the wrong side of the screen, on the way back i saw what mrs flea79's small intestine and bowell looked like, a most enlightening day, when people ask my overriding memory of the day my first child was born i say i saw the wifes innards!
