Comedians like Rock and Gervais think they can get away with anything. Brave comedians in the Lion's den? I don't think so. It takes a really brilliant comedian to know exactly where the boundaries are. Here's the perfect example of comedic bravery... Stewart Lee performing in Glasgow. OS. Always thought of you as a Will Hay man Hard to tell with Will Smith if bad acting or not as he's made s career out if it

Will Smith looks to be having a very public complete breakdown, it’s sad to see and the interview he had that bought to light his wife’s shenanigans looked like it completely destroyed him.
Doesn’t excuse slapping someone for a joke though, I’ve never understood people who get offended by humour, it’s your prerogative if you find something hilarious or offensive and you can’t go round chinning people if you don’t like the jokes they’re making, Chris Rock has taken the piss out of people for decades he’s built a career on it.

Will Smith is an absolute anus, as is his wife. If you want to see someone who really suffers from Alopecia, see Matt Lucas (narry a hair on him). Jada had a small bald patch and decided to shave her head for it, power to her but don't be surprised if a stand up comic comes at you when you're sat on the fucking front row of all places where it's his job to dish out MILD roastings.
Why are people acting so bent out of shape over an Alopecia joke anyway? It's not a life threatening illness, it's a mild version of what most men go through at some point in their lives. It's most certainly not something to physically assault someone over. It was a G.I Jane joke, not him calling her a bald c*nt. It's ok for his wife to have an affair with his son's friend, but somehow mentioning his wife's hair-do is crossing the line? Come on now...
Chris Rock's stock has soared massively, he dealt with the situation with the utmost of professionalism. He is a seasoned stand up comic who could have easily ripped Will Smith and his cheating wife apart, but physically bit his tongue (he even went to say something but ended it prematurely with "I could..."). Like a poster above alluded to, it was cowardice from Will Smith. I guarantee if he'd have gone at someone like Dave Chapelle, Joe Rogan or Bill Burr then he would be sleeping on the stage waking up in an ambulance. He's a contemptuous cowardly twat with a disgusting polyamorous wife. Fuck them both.

Not saying you're wrong mate but I can't see it. If they appear on social media soon arms around each other's shoulders then it's one of the greatest acts of trolling in history. But this is car crash publicity for Smith. I'm actually surprised Smith is getting support from some quarters. I wonder, if Joe Rogan had made that joke would Smith have acted in the same way? Would he fuck...what he did was quite cowardly because Chris Rock is a small unathletic guy. He was an easy target because Smith was completely unafraid of violent repercussions. On the flip side maybe it is a troll and they'll reveal it soon, and it's some sort of weirdly concocted scheme to raise awareness for alopecia? A hairbrained scheme ironically. Will Smith calls himself a coward in his autobiography, I think largely because his dad used to beat up his mum, and Will didn't do anything about it. Though he was only a boy, he says he's been a coward his whole life and he regretted not standing up for his family. It can't be easy being in public life and having constant attacks against you and your family from all quarters, and maybe the Chris Rock incident was the straw that broke the camel's back. Look up some of the celebrities who've commited suicide in recent years and how the media (social media trolls included) treated them. Caroline Flack being a recent high profile example. Not that I'm condoning violence, but I doubt Rock has much of a bruise. This does explain maybe a desire to overcompensate for that previous "cowardice". The issue is, this incident comes across as bullying in my eyes. I think it's highly relevant that he did this to a man who he is completely confident he could physically dominate if push comes to shove. Ironically in the same way wife beaters are cowards.

yep, it’s an apology from his management team. How he partied etc after the incident shows he didn’t really give a fuck about what he’d done. Should be left alone now though, bit no doubt it’ll rumble on…Another “celeb” who’s virtue signalling days are over

not staged Smith would not have dropped the F bomb on live TV if it was pre-arranged Rock has made a career out of this sort of thing, and has previously made reference to Smith's wife's knickers, so there is history In the US there is the tradition of 'roasting' celebrities. They have whole shows about it, and it appears to be an acceptable part of US culture. The closest thing we would have in this country is Mcintye and Carr and a guest spot on HIGNFY. I wonder how much longer they can justify roasts when virtually everything is taboo now. And Alopecia should be off limits, even if it is an open marriage etc He actually made a comment about Rihannas knickers not his missus sorry yes I've now seen them

I'm surprised that after 2 days this Will Smith thing is still being reported. We didn't have this much fuss when Ricky Fuller slapped Andy Griffin, on the pitch.

Roman Polanski raped a 13 year old but he was fine……. These are the times we’re living in unfortunately thanks to the permanently offended brigade. Polanski should have had his knob shot off. Will Smith does a little slap and social media is in uproar. Welcome to 2022 and it’ll only get worse

Roman Polanski raped a 13 year old but he was fine……. Be fair, Paedo Polanski was expelled from the Academy. Now, I appreciate some might think that the expulsion was a little tardy, coming as it did some 40 years after he raped and sodomised a 13 year old girl. But, we have to understand the Academy was very busy and had a lot on its plate giving out those awards like the one in 2003 for best director for the Pianist. Still, lessons learned. No hanging about now. What next for Mr Smith though? Maybe we’ll see him in a Netflix series trying to run a farm somewhere.
