I'm not one for getting ex-players in for the sake of it, but Bojan is studying for his qualifications to be a Sporting Director when he retires and as long as he was up to the task that I would love to see that happen.........

Love him, but it does make me a bit sad, how far the club are from where we were then.

Ole, Ole Ole Ole.......Bojan, Bojan...
(If one single person says he wasnt the same after Rochdale I will hunt you down and make you eat Tofu. That period AFTER his injury with Shaq, Arnie, Bojan, Affellay as an attacking diamond, and a solid hardworking defence led by Shawcross and Whelan was the best Stoke City side I've ever seen. Imagine if Nzonzi had stayed and played in that Nov/Dec2015 lineup! Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea, Everton all beaten, Arsenal draw! We somehow lost to Sunderland away, Watford away and Palace at home in the same period...then Sparky shit himself and we know where that ended up!)

A stoke legend no doubt and thoroughly decent bloke.
It's a shame Rowett couldn't have got the best out of him instead of using him as to berate the fans.

I expect PSG will be looking to sign him next season, now that he's put his name out. It's not the most likely transfer, but they signed Chopper, didn't they? And he played in the Champions League final, and still doing the business for Bayern (the club).
Bojan would have to watch his strings of course, but he could be an 88th minute sub in the Champions League final in 2023.

When he was at his best he was the best player I've seen in a Stoke shirt.

Our own little genius. When we signed Bojan and Muniesa it was the beginning of something very special not seen for fifty years.
"Bojan played 163 gamed for Barcelona in four seasons. He won La Liga three times, the Champions League twice and scored in a Copy(sic) del Rey final win. Lionel Messi was the only other player to score at least half a dozen goals for the club in each of those seasons."
And yet he wasn't good enough to get in our side. It's laughable.
Good luck in Japan, Bojan.
OS.

“He will forever be associated with perhaps the greatest team there has ever been.“
How far we have fallen.

I still fail to understand why Bojan and also players such a Diouf were not part of our push to regain Premier League status.

I mean, who appoints a manager like Rowett, gives him 50M+ and stands around watching him play Bojan as a '6' at home to Bolton?
..and they call us idiots for posting shit on Social Media...

Too fragile for English football. No way. He was rarely injured because he was quick and nimble, which allowed him to avoid crunching tackles. He is very similar in build and style to George Eastham who was equally adept at avoiding tackles at a time when the game was far more physical. Bojan also knew he had Shawcross and Hugh to take care of him if things got rough. Eastham had Smith and Bloor and nobody messed with them. His ruptured ACL was a result of catching his foot in the turf.

However, he also has Whelan to take care of him.

It was Bojan who unwittingly and ultimately caused his departure though as he was on the bench at Bolton away when the fans were singing his name It was that singing that caused Rowett to take the support on and the rest is history I think there was more to it than just that mate. The Bojan issue was just a symptom of a wider dissatisfaction with Rowett's tedious and incompetent set-up. If he could've found room for a shred of creativity in the most expensively assembled side in the league, I don't think he would've copped half the flak he did. Jones certainly didn't. The man who found Will Hughes too exotic and fancy dan for his tastes was never going to be able to stomach Bojan though. Rowett's the kind of bloke who goes to a curryhouse and asks for the chicken nuggets.

I think that was one of the most ludicrous things I've ever seen at a football match...and he was still head and shoulders the best player on the pitch until he was ridiculously substituted.
