No_one should know better than us. That stadium on a windswept hill is not conducive to a regular good game of football. Its made for a battle as we showed for years. Its way too big for us now after all the mismanagement since the premiership years. Its awful to get to and sit in. Add the weak dross on the field and no wonder people are voting with their feet. It needs demolishing for housing and us moving to a more suitable home.

Or we could try to win some games and it'd be fine.

We need to change the badge back to the old one too, that'll definitely sort everything out.

On a serious note how about the club investing in the installation of suitable wind breaks on the two open ends. Perhaps after 25 years the penny might drop

But you know what our owners are like, the attitude of “it is what it is” means things will never really change. The planned changes to the stadium only really affect the very small percentage of fans who go to Delilah’s or the fortunate wealthy few that use the posh parts. Meanwhile the rest of us will still enjoy a small concourse with delicious burgers and pints on offer, a wonderful sound system and the views of the stadium as we wait over an hour to leave the car park.

We need to change the badge back to the old one too, that'll definitely sort everything out. Instead of the Staffs Knot of the old badge, we could have a picture of Walters’ face instead, that would get them playing with passion and pride.

Maybe we could invest in loads of beach wind breaks and hammer them in around the ground??? 🤔

We should be familiar with it whereas our opponents won’t be. For fucks sake. Put a wind break up. At the moment the wind leads to shit football and makes for a shit experience when watching. Aiming to use the wind is like some tinpot non league outfit using a sloping pitch or some shit like Luton having a plastic pitch.

The conditions certainly helped in the PL along with our playing style. Now we seem to struggle to adapt to it more than our opponents. That’s 2 home games in a row where the wind really hasn’t helped. Don’t think it would have changed the shitshow last night as we were dreadful but it’s no longer an advantage.

Sadly to late to go back home now. We had plenty of opportunity (in my dreams) to go back but we let it go and now we are trapped forever in no mans land. Pity we never moved to the Michelin site.

In the past it's been one of the weapons in our arsenal.
Our present manager is determined to make a very tippy tappy team and they traditionally fare poorly in our stadium.

Why does everyone moan about the ground? Because it's shit. It's really shit. It cost £27m (inflation adjusted) which is slightly more than the combined cost of Ince/Vokes/McClean. And like that trio it's unbelievably shit.

I like the stadium, but miss the Vic and always wonder how it would have looked.
The current stadium is in the wrong place. End of.
