The only thing that's bullshit is the way you twist not only words, but also the facts. Vrancic has lately played more than Powell, because Powell has been out for many weeks, but before that most of his appearences were as sub, frequently coming on for Powell in the last 10-15 mins. Playing them together is a risk we can't afford for two such non-defensive midfielders, at least if we also play three men up front. I can't be bothered going through all your rubbish. Oh but one other thing. If our team and players are as excellent as you consistently proclaim, then why are we a midtable team with mostly dire games over the course of the season... I don’t want to be in an argument, but didn’t we start the season using Vrancic and Powell in a three and then move it to using Vrancic and Powell together by having them play either side of the central striker for a few games as inside forwards? I know that we did that a few times, I can’t remember how regularly it was though. Many of the games we have played since losing Powell have been such a slog, it’s made the season feel twice as long as it is! You said it. For a few games...they're too similar tactically for it to work. But Vrancic isn't good enough to lead the team on his own. So it's good to have Nick back, although he might need a couple more games before he is that leader again.

He looked well out of sorts off the bench at Coventry but at Huddersfield he was superb right on it

Its pathetic mate let’s be honest, you’ll have many a fan sat on here waiting for another loss in order to criticise and then moaning they can’t get a ticket in the next round if we win and get a big draw

So: Bonham replaced Davies who replaced Bursik because he was playing marginally better than Bursik. I'm sure Bursik will be back but he stlll has to improve his game to be an automatic first choice. I think goalkeeper is an area where we could do better, Wilmot was rotated in to replace Smith. That's the one rotation I agree on even though you don't think its a rotation. And the idea that a manager is prepared to risk a loss just to "hang a player out to dry" is utter bullshit. Thompson is coming back from injury - but that is completely irrelevant to your claim that the Huddersfield team was purely a rotation Baker is for the future - ie the fact he played was nothing to do with rotation Vrancic is a regular - he's played more games than Powell this season and both have played in the same team (on merit) on a number of occasions. A good number of posters thought Vrancic was brought in as backup for Powell and that simply hasn't been how its worked out, Vrancic is deserving of a place in the starting 11 - unfortunately he's now out injured. Clucas and Allen were dropped from the Huddersfield game and I didn't even name either of them in my side for Saturday and Powell (who I did name) needs game time to get back up to speed. And I've not even mentioned Sawyers who looks like he might be back earlier than anyone thought. The competition for places in the midfield is ridiculous - in a good way. It's the same upfront. Campbell (who would be a first team regular if fully back up to speed) and Fletcher (a first team regular bar injury since he arrived) have indeed stepped down and are in competition with DWP, JPB and Brown (our top scorer). And we've just added Maja to the mix and maybe we might even see something of Sima before the season is out. Your claim that we haven't got strength in depth simply doesn't stand up to scrutiny. The only thing that's bullshit is the way you twist not only words, but also the facts. Vrancic has lately played more than Powell, because Powell has been out for many weeks, but before that most of his appearences were as sub, frequently coming on for Powell in the last 10-15 mins. Oh but one other thing. If our team and players are as excellent as you consistently proclaim, then why are we a midtable team with mostly dire games over the course of the season... You aren't prepared to comment on the rest of my post because you I've got this one right and you have no logical basis on which to challenge what I've said. I didn't say our team and players are excellent - I said the squad was competitive and nearly every player in it could stake a claim in the starting 11. And you accuse me of twisting your words...

We would have sold out if we were playing away doesn’t matter where. Home games in the cup just don’t have any attraction, not many fans, half the ground closed, ridiculously priced tickets for who we are playing and on top of that freezing cold.

Could have done kids for a quid would have enticed the next fans possibly.

Not confident today. They score goals, are used to winning and have a good cup record. Plus we have a lousy record against Wigan

I thought the prices were quite fair. It costs £12+ to go to a Conference match. Plus I'm quite excited to see Maja, Wright Phillips, Campbell and possibly Powell playing together. Who do you want to see who definitely won't play? If you're talking about the opposition I think you'd find for a league match you'd pay upwards of £20 to watch them.

Depending on who you are, you might see that as a sign in our favour. They have a key player (Will Keane) out? Goodness me, Wigan had better write this season off as a free hit then. No Keane, no party.

We struggle to score three now
