It says it all that MON only took a few weeks to get from:

...to washing his hands of him after a few weeks of pre-season an letting him go to Turkey, then Millwall

I really believe the Chuckle Brothers (Rowett and Phillips) are literally the only management team that would have spent £12.5m on Afobe that summer
In amongst all the other shambolic decisions, that one has killed us more than most
Phillips seems to have had a bizarre opinion of him - God only knows where it came from

The red card really did impact him and us. |
