Bit like the Edwards situation. Seeing something in a player they never were. Afobe was hopeless. Agree with the 'has to be better' scenario. He really was useless and was in no way better or worth bringing back. At least with Edwards, he’s young and has done well on loan, which hopefully gives him some possible way back, if he takes it. Afobe has done absolutely nothing and is supposed to be in his “prime” at 28. He did OK on loan. Neither are better than what we have in any sense
