Assuming Souttar and Vrancic are injured and Allen and Sima haven’t recovered: Davies Smith Wilmot Batth Chester Doughty Thompson Sawyers Powell Brown Surridge This is how I would set up as well. Though I expect that Thompson will be replaced for Allen (if fit) or Clucas. If Vrancic is out for a game, and so is Allen it will be a great opportunity for Thompson to make a role his own.

Not allowing loan players to play against you is cowardly

The bad news is Lindsay appears to have lost his place in Preston’s side. I was hoping he’d have lasted a little longer until they sussed him out.

After a slow start they seem to be playing quite well. They’ve more than held their own against West Brom and Sheff U recently.
I’d take a draw.

Any chance we could mount a campaign to get Liam Lindsay back in the PNE starting 11?

Which Stoke are going to turn up?
The progressive team from the start of the season or the Stoke Strollers we have turned into.

I would be happy with a point, they usually take us apart up there. Think the 3-1 defeat a couple of years back was our only one in the last 5or 6 games. Do like Deepdale but can't make this one. We had a bad record on the plastic before eventually winning there. Not seen them this season. Don't know the first thing about them to be honest.

He’s like a few others on here who are desperate for O’Neill to fail.Prime example being Christhepotter who only posts after defeats or to slag O’Neill off🙄utterly bizzare

Not Chester nor Clucas. I’m guessing Smith will now be back in the team too so Duhaney on the bench.
Be good to see Fletcher and Sima getting a game, that could work out to be a very interesting partnership

He's one of the many folk who turned on our manager big time last season, and doesn't like the fact that he is proving him to be spectacularly wrong.

I like it that overall he’s trying to get us play how I want us to and more attacking. Just atm it’s a struggle at home but think it will come.

He stated the manager would be under pressure if we lost on Saturday, that's just weird or it would be if he hadn't spent half the summer suggesting we would have a poor start with the manager gone by October.

We’ve won six out of seven at home in all competitions. We’ve scored 13 goals and let in 5. The one game we didn’t win was the Barnsley game which was probably our best performance and only bad finishing/good goalkeeping stopped it from being 5 or 6.
