Let’s hope we play as well as we did tonight but have our shooting boots on. I’d go with
Bursik
Doughty Østigård Souttar Wilmot Tymon
Allen Powell Sawyers
Surridge Sima

I’d go with Bursik Doughty Østigård Souttar Wilmot Tymon Allen Powell Sawyers Surridge Sima I’d go with that except Brown for Surridge…he’s too light weight and gets bullied by the centre halves too much for me. Brown ain’t perfect but if Fletcher ain’t fit we don’t have another option. Think Allen may be out on Saturday…let’s hope Powell is fit.

On the basis that Allen is injured and Powell is fit:
Bursik
Doughty Ostigard Souttar Wilmot Tymon
Thompson Sawyers Powell
Brown Sima

I thought we looked ok last night and wouldn't change too much. The more you give the midfield and strikers a run together the more they will build up an understanding of how each other plays. I think Allen was sharp first half but faded second and that with Powell on Vrancic would get more time on the ball as Powell harasses opposition better than Sawyers. Plus Vrancic's corners caused havoc all night and we must start scoring from some at some point.
I'd go:
Bursik
Doughty Ostigard Souttar Wilmot Tymon
Vrancic Allen Powell
Brown Surridge

I would start Thompson over Sawyers but think MON may make just the one change with Powell, if fit to start, in for Allen

A win yesterday would have taken a lot of pressure off this one, and Rooney at Derby seems to have some sort of spell on us. They are pretty terrible so it's not like we'll get battered, but there's just something niggling that makes me think we won't win it.

I think it's fair to say that my ageing Tabby harrasses the opposition more than Sawyers' ! Looking forward to seeing that player we saw in Brentford colours two or three seasons back.

Allen won’t be fit and looking at Bursik(stretching his calf),Souttar holding his back and Tymon(absolutely knackered just before the end) it wouldn’t surprise me if a few more were out🤔

They are fighting hard for everything and picking up points, hence why I don't think it'll be easy. Quality-wise, they are way off where we are, but they are making a fist of it.

Getting ready to accept a 9 points deduction .... and with the 9 point deduction, comes the 'us against them' and 'siege' mentality I reckon its gonna be a lot tougher than folks on here want to make out. Theyll be up for this one

Until we develop a hard bastard approach with zero quarter given, these games remain a banana skin.

Theyll be up for this one until the first goal goes in against them the longer it's 0.0 then yes they will gain something mentally Albion could have scored a hatful but Derby keeper had a blinder (like our game v Barnsley) wouldn't be at all surprised if we score from a goal keeper error tomorrow & go onto win comfortably

If you've watched them at all they are well organised defensively and actually try to play football unlike a lot of championship teams. They struggle to score which is their downfall but there is no way we will find this one easy. Rooney is doing an excellent job.

Will he drop Surridge after scoring on Wed night. I don’t really see how surridge will play a big part this season, we’ve got 4 other strikers who are better + powell who will probably play up there at some point

3 visits there since relegation and we haven’t even scored let alone won. Ideal opportunity to reverse that record and keep some momentum. This site won’t be pretty if we lose this one, I think most fans are expecting us to come away with 3pts.
I think if we score first, we win.

It worries me, this one. I think, because we all know what an ongoing basket-case Derby are off the pitch, that many are assuming this is a given Stoke win. However, they're 16th with a form of WDDLD which means they're not a pushover. I mean, on paper we should be able to go there and get a win but, as they say, football's not played on paper.

It will be a really tough game, like someone rightly pointed out, they are disciplined and try to play good football. I expect it to be a tight match.
