I've had a vision, I can see this line up
Bursik
Ostigard Souttar Wilmot
Ince Tymon Vranic Sawyers Clucas
Sima Brownie
Think Allen is struggling, Powell back but benched.

I think MON has more or less told us that Ince will start. I can't see any way on this earth that Sima will start though, Surridge will start instead after he got on the right end of a hatful of chances against Barnsley and hit the target every time.

The right service??? Fuck me, he missed from 4 yards, 3 times on Weds? How much better does he need it??!! How many does Fletcher miss from the same distance- header against Coventry last year, Notts Forest at home this year- Preston and his daft Rabonna last year- remind me how many Fletcher has scored this year- another one whose reputation improves when he doesn’t play? To answer your question .... 3

To answer your question .... 3 Can't knock Surridge v Barnsley, work rate was top notch, runs off the ball plus got his goal. Strikers don't score every chance they get. The good thing is that he is getting on the end of them. He will only get better.

To those who find it funny Well said. Rivalries are good but no one wants to see any club go under surely. I’m no fan of Derby but if we were in the same boat we’d be gutted. I’m sure they have some really decent footy fans.

Hang on.
Two days ago, Derby were negotiating a penalty of 12-points for something (no mention of administration)... and it looked likely they'd be given a 9-point penalty.
Now they're looking at administration.
Does that mean they'll face a double point penalty?

On paper we have to be favourites although Derby haven’t been close to being the whipping boys that everyone assumed. They clearly have the stomach for the fight. I’m slightly nervous about the news and th effect it’ll have. Got a feeling they’ll be in siege mentality mode, in which case we can expect a supremely tough battle.

If the news had broken earlier in the week it would have been better for us. As it is they’ll be in seige mentality mode. A very tough game against a side who have proved hard to beat.

They'd be 15-points behind Forest in 24th... 20 from safety 🥴

“You’re losing points in the morning, points in the morning…” "Wycombe Wanderers, they should have stayed up" Or how about.. "Minus points, minus points, Derby County Minus points, minus points I say Minus points, minus points, Derby County Playing football the granny shagging way" Either way, there should be a fair bit of sympathy from our corner of the ground today!

Might seems strange, but I'd rather have played Derby before they knew they were having points deducted. It may fire them up to battle and scrap more.

I had another thought this morning - how about Brown right wing back with Sima coming in up front, Powell in for Sawyers and if Allen's not fit I'd put Thompson as defensive mid. No forwards on the bench is the difficulty there but we'd have the option of putting Brown up there and bringing Ince or Doughty on. Might open a gap for Tyrese to sit on the bench for emergency 10 minutes if needed.

Well we will see if he actually wants to be here and be part of the team

Might seems strange, but I'd rather have played Derby before they knew they were having points deducted. It may fire them up to battle and scrap more. It will go one of two ways. They will either come out all guns blazing to try and get some more points on the board before the deduction kicks on or it will demotivate them and they will collapse. My gut feeling is they will come out swinging before the points deduction kicks in and kills them off slowly as the season progresses.
Today will be a seriously tough game IMO.
