Agree. I do like Jude Bellingham but it would be terribly harsh on Calvin Phillips to drop him.

We will win at a canter. We are currently watching one of the best sides in World Football with this England team, and if Gareth takes off the shackles we could rule the world.

If we want Grealish high up the pitch close to the opposition box (rather than just as an attacking midfielder), then 433 suits best.
If we want a system that best accommodates Phil Foden, then surely it'd be 4231 (with Foden at ten).
To accommodate a winger like Saka (or TAA if he regains his 2019 form), who looks very good running with the ball from deep, then 352 might work best.
Not sure what system best suits Mason Mount's skill set (ten or central midfield)?

Our best formation would carry on attacking instead of trying to sit back

352. The new generation we're breeding will be more adaptable. But overall 353. Phil can play in the middle. There used to be a law stating English left footed players have to be left backs but it's getting better!

The formation that gets most of our quality attackers in it, whilst not risking being defensively too open! Simple, eh?
4231 for me, with Sterling, Grealish and, when fit again, Foden, behind Kane (Greenwood in a few years). Mount, Rashford and Sancho in reserve.

Not sure what system best suits Mason Mount's skill set (ten or central midfield)? This isn't Sunday League football - you don't pick a formation to suit a certain player. You assess the players available, choose a formation that suits them best (or will work best against the opposition) and then pick the best players for that formation - even if that means your best/favourite player misses out. England's best formation in the Euros was 433 with 2 deep lying midfielders (Rice and Philips). I think the best options for the more attacking midfield position are Mount, Foden, Bellingham and Grealish. We are lucky to have so many decent options and don't have to rely on any particular star player.

Lewandowski v Kane will be fascinating. Who is the best number 9 in the world? Griezmann has took over from Lewandowski. Despite Griezann having a patchy season last year.

But l think you may be confusing the MB with a professional selection committee meeting, when in fact it's just three blokes in a pub passing an enjoyable half hour !
