Bet365 don't like our chances:
Swansea win 11/8 Stoke win 19/10 Draw 23/10
If we could by some miracle, somehow dig out a narrow win here it could be the day everything changed!

I think we will be mid table at best , we’ve cut our cloth and expectations are really not that high , could be another 10/15 years before we get up in the prem unless the rules change and the Coates family can spend their millions

They're only a championship club, nothing special. We have every chance of picking up points, a point at their place, maintain an unbeaten start and 3 points at ours in the return fixture will do me.
We still got Campbell to come back yet, Dougherty to get uo to speed and a couple of players to sign before the window shuts

On paper we’ve a great chance of winning this.
But you just know, midweek away game, we’ll struggle.
Our midweek form last year was horrible.

He did first season when he had to keep us up but now it seems more like go away and don’t lose

They wiped the floor with us at their place last season and I don’t really see it being much different this time.

The match make up and maths modelling both point the way to a comfortable home victory hence the odds. I hope they are wrong and we can nick a point at least.

Well, they haven't started the season well.
It could work out for them, but their new manager seems another possession zealot, and there doesn't seem the desire from the ownership to get the players that will need, if the supply of top loans runs out
2-1 defeat at Blackburn, which could have been much, much worse - and they never looked liked scoring on Saturday against Sheff Utd despite their toothless possession.
And have lost Woodman, Ayew, Hourihane, Guehi and Roberts to a bad injury, which is a big hole - and not much in to replace them.
The consensus pre-season seemed to be that they'd be closer to the bottom 6 than the top 6.
That said, we'll probably lose.

They are susceptible to being caught in possession and their keeper looks suspect but for us to take advantage we need to be bold and play on the front foot, something that I simply never see us do away from home.

Their new signing seems very confident in his manager and the way he plays🤔

It's a good time to be playing them, theoretically while they're acclimatising to their new style. In their opening game they gave the ball away 13 times trying to play out from the back and Blackburn could've had about five or six.

I noticed Birmingham had only 24% possession against Sheffield United whereas Swansea enjoyed 63%. I'm pretty sure we won't see much of the ball on Tuesday and mid-week matches away from home under floodlights just fill me with dread, I really never fancy our chances. Even MON looked like he was bracing himself for the worst when asked about this one in the Birmingham post match interview!

Spot on, I watched the game and I couldn’t believe what they did sometimes, a better team would of scored 5 or 6 against them... A Stoke team that go there interested they could get something, Brown gotta start this game... ( never thought I’d say that )

Bet365 don't like our chances: Swansea win 11/8 Stoke win 19/10 Draw 23/10 If we could by some miracle, somehow dig out a narrow win here it could be the day everything changed! Miracle ? They are going to be as average as can be this season. Good opportunity for a result.

Another test like the game at Brum.
A solid result will be a positive indicator for the future.
There were worrying signs of the Stoke Strollers at the weekend. MON needs to snap down on that nonsense and ensure we are fully committed for the whole 90 mins.
