Let’s not go there. We’ve seen this before. Maybe it’s a coincidence that Ince has found a little bit of form in the final transfer window of his horrible spell at Stoke City?
Sorry, but just like most of the 2022 free agents I’ll be glad to see the back of him.

His best game for God knows how long He's played centrally before and been awful -Jones played him at top the diamond - Today he was good on the ball and his decision making was excellent He is capable of first time penalty box finishes Given we are absolutely stuck re making incoming signings Ince amazingly has a chance of being a useful player before he leaves in the summer Agree with everything bar Ince's decision making. For me it's up there with the very worst. Especially knowing when to pass, he's just far too slow at it. That said, on current form he deserves to start, his pass and finish were well executed.

Scored a good goal and was probably was MOM , but it doesn't make up for the last three seasons. The last three seasons have gone, nothing he or anyone can do about them. From now he can only play one game at a time to get back into favour. Praise or damn him on the basis of what he does from now on, the past is what it was, park it to one side and treat as history. Have you ever touched an iron, and said shit I won't do that again, it's called learning from experience.

There's no winning in regards to Ince I've realised. Plays well and the cynics say it's because he's out of contract soon and it doesn't make up for previous poor form. Play shit and it's what the fans want because it fits the agenda... strange mentality.
I also don't understand fans who question his attitude. To me, I see a player who tries to make things happen and off the ball works just as hard as anybody. Plus, MON hasn't been shy to boot players out of the club so the fact he's here and been in the squad consistently shows he must have a decent attitude.
We're in a desperate state atm regarding performances, we should be happy that he's getting some confidence back, not cynical and disparaging of it.

By the sound of the latest interview from the manager, he simply has to, to either get a club interested in him to allow us to bring someone else in OR for us to finally get some value out of him.

I’ve been his biggest critic since he fell off after Rowett left.
This season he’s been putting in graft, actually winning a head or two, tracking back, putting a foot in and most importantly, scoring goals.
I’m really hoping he’s starting to become the player we signed, the one who had that incredible season at Derby and the one I used to sign every year on FIFA and wanted Stoke to do the same when he was at Blackpool.
For me, on current form, the shirt is his to lose. Other out of favour and out of form players need to take note.

We're in a desperate state atm regarding performances, we should be happy that he's getting some confidence back, not cynical and disparaging of it. If he is consistent for most of the games he features in until the end of the season, I’ll be won over. One or two decent games isn’t going to make me suddenly feel that he was a good signing for us. However, I want him to play well because we need him to. We have no one else now that Powell is out of the picture who can play centrally and take the game by the scruff of the neck. If he has 6 good months that helped us into the playoffs, I’d offer him a contract on much reduced terms. If not, then the only sorrow I’d have for him leaving is the sorrow of what could have been. Oh, and I also don’t get the attitude thing. He’s never had a problem tracking back under MON, who did play him when he first arrived. Perhaps fans just compared him to McClean on the other side?

In fact despite the fact I don’t like him and want him gone I’ve called for him to get a crack at RWB as Smith has produce no output for weeks. Giving him any sort of extended contract, don’t even go there.
