For those trying to dampen the achievement by saying Sterling dived ( maye he did, maybe he didn't) I give you... The over dramatic writhing of the German that got Gazza booked in 1990. Ditto Simone getting Beckham sent off,Ronaldo getting Rooney sent off. The Lampard shot that was a foot over the line. And the decision to disallow the late Campbell header v Argentina, an incident the referee has since admitted he didn't see clearly and so acted on instinct. Ronaldo cheating to get Rooney sent off on 2006 The referee admitting only two weeks ago that he guessed there’d been a foul for Jon Terry’s golden goal v Portugal in 2004 Rooney got Rooney sent off in 2006, unless Ronaldo somehow used a magnet to manipulate his studs into planting themselves into Carvalho’s scrotum. Thought both the Campbell goals were correctly disallowed too tbh.

Ronaldo cheating to get Rooney sent off on 2006 Exactly mate ,it's not like we have never been shafted in major tournaments over the years. I added another to that post but I’ll add another The Denmark free kick in the very same match last night that seems to be being airbrushed from the match

Morons. Some on here justifying booing the knee and the opposition anthem earlier in the tournament. They are not true supporters. They are embarrassing idiots.

After watching the Spain v Italy game the previous night, Eng v Den was the stuff they clear up after the Lord Mayor’s show! England simply stifled any attacking intentions that Denmark had, wore them down, then after scoring the necessary goals ran the clock down with time wasting tactics. Kane’s centre of gravity must be the top of his head, as every time anyone went near him he went down like a giant redwood! Why can’t they win with fast, attractive free flowing football, surely they now have the players to do it!? Unfortunately Southgate hasn’t got the balls to let them play, he even took Grealish off half an hour after bringing him on! Sunday could be a classic to compare with the other semi final, but I fear it will just be another slog. Not watching the same game…..

We have had a lot of payback for the 66 final 3rd goal.

You have to feel sorry for Schmeichel, saving that penalty only for it to go in anyway.
Actually, having thought about it for a bit, no you don't.

Bonus from last night, the wife hasn’t really spoken to me this morning then gone to work without saying anything or leaving a stupid list of chores to do. Turns out I didn’t speak to her from 8-12 last night according to my daughter and she’s got one on her, what a nut job. Well Mrs Questionable wait til Sunday as part two is on its way. It wasn’t your anniversary or your wife’s birthday yesterday?

The laser incident: It didn't affect Schmeichel one bit. He saved the penalty no problem but then failed to hold on to the ball and Kane slotted it home. So nobody can say it affected the outcome of the game. Having said that, the bastard who did it wants hanging from the yardarm. Factamundo: England have never lost in a major final. Italy will be quaking in their nogger boots at that fact. OS.

I must admit, I wasn't convinced by him for some time. I was at the Ricoh in 2008 when he was Coventry keeper in our famous 2-1 win in the promotion season and I wasn't overly impressed by him then (he was very young still) and that might have coloured my judgment for some time. You don't accumulate the trophies he's won in that Leicester side without being excellent in goal. I can see him moving to a bigger club and winning more.

I live in Leicester these days, he's very well thought of and a great ambassador for the club, city and sport. Just glad he wasn't able to keep England out last night! Keep it quiet as I get a lot of stick for saying this round these parts, but Leicester City are a great club, well run and everything a football club should be. They are also everything we could and should have been, and indeed were well on the road to being, but we let it all slip away. Living in Leicester is a constant reminder of this....

He's a brilliant keeper, if he was 5 years younger I'm sure he'd go for a huge fee but he's 35 later this year and he's probably past the point where a really big club would come in for him, I'm not sure he'd want to move anyway, he's been at Leicester for over a decade now and probably achieved more than he ever dreamed of already.

Not one player from Denmark or the keeper himself mentioned it during or after the match Paul It’s a nothing story I'm sure they did Wez I think that was why the ref went over to the forth official mate. I think that was at the start of the first period of extra time?

The first was compelling viewing that I couldn’t take my eyes off, the second a painful ordeal to be endured. I just think England have the players to be so much better! Instead of two defensive and one “athletic” midfielder why not start with a creative player in there? Instead Kane has to drop in and try to create something before falling over to win a free kick! I think we have an inferiority complex that means that we don’t believe we can win by outplaying our opponents, we think we must “battle” and “overpower” and “outfight” our opponents. Anyway, perhaps when he looks back on this tournament, (win or lose on Sunday) perhaps Southgate (who I support wholeheartedly) will realise that his group of players had more ability than he gave them credit for!

I thought the penalty was 50-50. If it's given against you it's horrible, if it's not given for your team you feel angry because I think it is probably a penalty.
England deserved to win, no doubt and that's an overreaction to that peno, I don't think it's a big controversy.
I thought the decision to give Denmark the free kick which resulted in their goal was a shocking decision.

Fair enough. Been saying for years, there's no point being the only side that doesn't dive if everyone else does it. Quite happy to see diving punished with retrospective match bans to try to stop it if necessary, but until then it's just evening it all out isn't it? A case of two wrongs making a right, maybe?! Perhaps Sterling is a smarter footballer than we think and he used a tally of comings together to build up a picture of physical treatment in the ref's mind during the game, which eventually resulted in the pen? I don't remember him getting excuses made when he did it v us. He does it constantly and wasn't alone last night. If that had been given for Denmark would have been another one talked about in 30 years or so about how an awful decision cost England etc. He goes down at any opportunity in the box and nothing to do with the build up of fouls etc....he had one thing on his mind, wait for the slightest bit of contact and then dive. Let's tell it how it is. Even Henderson threw himself at the first opportunity. Was embarrassing and the Danes will feel robbed and rightly so. Shame to see such a huge game settled like that. Takes the shine off a great achievement. Sorry where did your team end up. 😂😂😂🤣
