Yes, I agree. Makes a pleasant change for it to be the other way around for a change. I hope we get the same amount of good fortune in the final too. Every side needs a bit of luck. had the biggest decision in a final ever previously you can't complain about decision for decades then when a player cheats say it's ok, screw the other team, we deserve it. You can when the opposing team scored their goal through cheating, as they did last night (and i'm pretty sure it was last night's game this thread is about?). You keep ignoring that very valid point though (and the posts that point it out to you) and are trying to make out that it was only England doing it.
Ignore actual facts of the game we're discussing, but bring in a WC final from over 50 years ago when your're seriously floundering. And you accuse others of deflecting?? Wow!!
Poor, disingenuous and with all due respect, transparent as fuck.

Imagine being Danish - lost to an own goal and a soft penalty!! To be fair, if the lad hadn't put it into his own net Sterling would have had a tap in on the line. Not like it was a fluke deflection or a miss-hit backpass.

Not like it was a fluke deflection or a miss-hit backpass. I know, I said the same at the time. Plus I think it was a penalty even if it was very, very soft. It's just if someone hadn't seen the game and looked at the stats it would seem as if England were lucky.

Hi Paul, good to see you back! Had the news about the laser pointer from a mate about an hour ago. Must admit I didn't notice it last night. Daily Mirror Cheers mate. It does beg the question, if the final goes to penalties and the same thing happens for every penalty that Donnarumma faces, then what will the outcome be if we've just been charged for the same offence four days earlier? I'm not really sure how the FA can police it mind.

Does it have any effect?
Schmeichel didn't flinch and I've never seen any keeper notice it when it's happened before and then he saved the feckin' thing.
It shouldn't happen but it doesn't seem to have much effect?

Turned TV on about 5 minutes before kick off. Come 8pm pundits were still spinning their yarns and Wembley seemed empty. Thinking the game had been delayed I looked at BBC Football website to find out why there was a delay in starting but it still said kick off 8pm. Carried on watching until about 8.10pm before realising I was tune in to ITV+1. Watched it on ITV Hub online and that may as well also be ITV +1 as it is so far behind real time. Its pretty crap if you hear anyone in the neighbourhood watching on TV celebrating a goal a full minute before you see it! In fact it ruins the game because you know if you dont hear anyone cheering we aint scoring! BM

I don't remember him getting excuses made when he did it v us. He does it constantly and wasn't alone last night. If that had been given for Denmark would have been another one talked about in 30 years or so about how an awful decision cost England etc. He goes down at any opportunity in the box and nothing to do with the build up of fouls etc....he had one thing on his mind, wait for the slightest bit of contact and then dive. Let's tell it how it is. Even Henderson threw himself at the first opportunity. Was embarrassing and the Danes will feel robbed and rightly so. Shame to see such a huge game settled like that. Takes the shine off a great achievement. Oh behave mate The dive and exploiting by their player to win the free kick they scored from gone under your radar then? Sterling does what Sterling does feels a slight touch and down he goes, Kane actually dived without a touch. If we’d gone out with that decision there’d be mass riots on here but let’s not forget about the Danes going down on a number of occasions clutching their faces as if they’d been pole axed. The best team won on the night, yes Denmark had periods but Southgate had perfectly weighed up the Danes and nullified their better players as he’s pretty much done throughout the competition.

Kane for the penalty shout? I don't think it was a penalty but it definitely wasn't a dive. He was kicked but the ball was won first and I don't think it was a foul.

Certainly didn’t affect him, but doesn’t excuse the fact that some bellend in the crowd needs birching for doing it.

Poor, disingenuous and with all due respect, transparent as fuck. I'm not sure I'd call the Danes goal cheating although, as someone else has already pointed out, the free kick should've been retaken as it was illegal. An attacking side forming its own wall at a free kick is not allowed to be within one metre of the defensive wall when the ball is struck. The Danes were. Re the 1996 final and the third goal (which wasn't a goal), the Germans' last minute equaliser was handball (watch the footage, Banks is going nuts about it!), so if that had been given as it should've, there would have been no 'third goal' controversy! Like I said, works both ways, and let's not forget the biggest bit of cheating in WC history happened against England in 1986...Lampard's ghost goal in 2010...the list goes on whether it's 'cheating' or controversial decisions, we've been on the rough end of quite a few over the years. Besides all that, I think it was a penalty. That bumping off the ball anywhere else on the pitch is a free kick...

After watching the Spain v Italy game the previous night, Eng v Den was the stuff they clear up after the Lord Mayor’s show! England simply stifled any attacking intentions that Denmark had, wore them down, then after scoring the necessary goals ran the clock down with time wasting tactics. Kane’s centre of gravity must be the top of his head, as every time anyone went near him he went down like a giant redwood! Why can’t they win with fast, attractive free flowing football, surely they now have the players to do it!? Unfortunately Southgate hasn’t got the balls to let them play, he even took Grealish off half an hour after bringing him on! Sunday could be a classic to compare with the other semi final, but I fear it will just be another slog.

For those trying to dampen the achievement by saying Sterling dived ( maye he did, maybe he didn't) I give you...
The over dramatic writhing of the German that got Gazza booked in 1990.
Ditto Simone getting Beckham sent off,Ronaldo getting Rooney sent off.
The Lampard shot that was a foot over the line.
And the decision to disallow the late Campbell header v Argentina, an incident the referee has since admitted he didn't see clearly and so acted on instinct.

Bonus from last night, the wife hasn’t really spoken to me this morning then gone to work without saying anything or leaving a stupid list of chores to do.
Turns out I didn’t speak to her from 8-12 last night according to my daughter and she’s got one on her, what a nut job.
Well Mrs Questionable wait til Sunday as part two is on its way.
