He might get a game for Kilmarnock if that's the Premier League he's referring to

Wants to return to Premier League next season. Deluded or what? Nobody wants him that's the truth! That's our problem though as we paid 12 times his value and now we're stuck with him!

It’s like Groundhog Day. Failed or disinterested first team player returns after a seasons loan to say they want to stake a claim for next season before going out again on loan as the window closes.
Wouldn’t it be refreshing if one of them said “I can’t wait to get out of this dog shit club, but there’s no way I’m giving up my mega bucks to do that!”

I'd still take him over Vokes and TBH I'd probably take him over Fletcher, I'm certain if he was here he'd have scored more than both of the together. Gouranga.

Wants to return to Premier League next season. Deluded or what? I want to win the lottery. Be careful what you wish for. I won the lottery once and it almost ruined my life. The things going through my mind to spend it on! Do I treat myself, the wife or the kids? Thank God it was only a tenner 😀

We've never played him to his strengths.
He's not a winger or a target man. Use him correctly and he'll bang the goals in for us.

Disagree with both those comments, but we all see different things.
He was great when we played Sheffield Wednesday away when Woods made his debut.
We played some nice through balls to his feet and he got us two goals. Which was pretty much the only time we used him how we should have.

A player who we haven’t been able to use properly. With the chances we’ve created in games this season had he stayed and played he’d have scored at least 10 IMO. I really don’t understand the hatred on here for Afobe. He’s a better option than Vokes or Gregory by some distance.
Another player we have just never been able to get the best out of.

Strangely enough as a Rowett signing he’s another one who thought he was good enough to go against the fans. When being as how shit they’d both been they should have been keeping their heads down and being quiet, really quiet.

What does he do? He doesn't run, he doesn't jump, he doesn't hold the ball up. We've seen little evidence of his supposed pace. He doesn't work as a lone striker. Even played in a two he's looked rubbish and uninterested. He's managed four goals for Trabzonspor. He's managed double figures three times in his career, one of which was in League One.

Another waste of space down to the process, another expensive albatross on huge wages and long contract dragging the club down.

Another waste of space down to the process, another expensive albatross on huge wages and long contract dragging the club down. The process in this case was giving the manager his top target, wasn't it? Is that the process you mean?

Diouf has 18 goals and 5 assists in Turkey for a newly promoted club.
Benik Afobe has 4 goals in Turkey for one of the biggest clubs who often play in Europe.
Enough said.

Which was pretty much the only time we used him how we should have. the stand out match for me when it became definitive that Afobe was beyond redemption was Leeds at home under Jones great win, Jones out foxed Bielsa by playing 532 Afobe played up top with Campbell Charlie was recalled & had a fantastic match (even Charlie haters were praising him that day) Campbell was a threat all afternoon, Benik looked completely lost Charlie pinged more through balls that game than Afobe could possibly have dreamed about, he got nowhere near any of them because he had no idea what was going on he's gone to play in a lower level than the Championship & struggled to be anything other than an impact sub
