How many of the team that started today will be starting next season? I reckon 4 at most. Brown, Chester, Powell and Thompson. And that’s at a real stretch with them bar Powell. There’s no need to be arsed over that tonight. It’s not about tonight though is it, it’s been months with lots of players This clusterfuck is four years in the making, MON is just another poor decision by our poor decision making hierarchy, he needs to go but what will our board replace him with I imagine another useless fall guy, make no bones about it the club is in deep trouble rotten from the top down.

Exactly Tonight in isolation would be tolerable but its every fucking week I like oneill and i appreciate that the problems run far deeper than him. However he shoukd be getting a far better tune out of these players He needs to improve for sure. Fuck, I was one of the first saying it. But we’re not going to sack him. If we did who would we bring in? No idea mate, as has been said, they are not the best at recriuiting managers However we cant carry on like this and im fearful for next season

We saw last year and the start of this season what MON can do - we were a good team. Why don’t we try changing something at the top and giving him some proper support from that angle?

It is but I don’t think it’ll happen. 4 is the absolute worst case scenario. I think Mikel is likely to be in the mix too and has Fletcher got another year? He's given Obi one and Chester enough game time to trigger extension options for both for another season and yes we still have sick note Steve for another season exciting times

I think Fletcher will be fine as long as we have another striker to rotate with and I think we’ll get one. He came on today and gave us control of the game. But he was also one of the reasons we didn’t win. That header was poor.

It's pretty obvious when MON does go, it's going to be Dean Holden stepping up. Nothing will change whilst the owners remain the same with their out dated ideologically

warning signs were there by getting rid of Verlinden and replacing with Matondo. his 'buys' and loans have not been great in the slightest. Getting rid of Diouf without giving him a chance, in favour of Vokes, wasn’t a great decision either.

This season is a write-off.
It'll come down to next season now when we've got players back.
We can't afford to sack him with FFP - and I haven't heard one realistic name mentioned who'd be willing to walk into this financial situation where we're rummaging around in the bargain bins until we can get rid of the 20 players next summer.
If he's underperforming, it's only by a bit at the margins. He's got nothing to work with.
We might have a shot at a Bilic (who I'm really not sure about) or a Wilder if our financial situation, and hence our means to improve our situation, wasn't as gloomy as a wet weekend in Skegness.
But it isn't, so I really don't think we do.
Other than them, it'd be a total punt on John Terry or a third-tier foreigner (and not sure those types would get a work permit now) or an unproven coach-type like Swansea and Huddersfield gambled with.
Nobody in the lower leagues is shining at all. All the people at the top of League 1 are retreads who have failed at this level. The Blackpool manager looks promising, but he'd be a total punt

If we did get rid, we would just hire yet another plodding British manager. They would muster a few wins and then go to shit. Just saying like. Exactly. Who are we going to replace him with?!

Go foreign but that won't happen and to think Potter wanted to come here, now I am teetering on the edge.

We've got no money to sack anyone. Mutual agreement perhaps end of next season We have money. We just can't spend it. I disagree. We are going for sustainability. If we had cash we would have spent it towards a decent manager not Paul Lambert, or Jese on loan, or moting on a free. We would have built an infrastructure 9f youngsters from the championship and loaned them out on a smaller scale than Chelsea etc. We would not have a manager at the center of all decisions and a CEO with a mouse brain

Sacking culture has got to stop, this manager will take us up with a full strength team Absolutely, toys out the pram at the first sign of trouble with football fans. We need stability, im not convinced he would take us up but he still needs time to mould his squad, otherwise we get another manager for 18 months who will bring in his own backroom team and maybe a few signings only to suffer the same fate. The problem/process gets repeated time and time again and we need to break that cycle!
