Forgive me if this is a silly question but I haven't seen any info regarding fans entering stadiums who haven't had both jabs. I've only had 1 jab so far so would that mean I'd need to show a negative test result? I have read all the clubs code of conduct. Only thing I could gather was that they may take your temperature before entry. I would guess this would be used more for people who haven't had both jabs. Nothing in place mate, just roll in Nice one, I can't wait any longer now

I love the bit that says <<The bet365 Stadium may look different to your last visit, so please familiarise yourself with the new Stadium layout in advance.>> But, how are we to familiarise ourselves in advance?

I love the bit that says <<The bet365 Stadium may look different to your last visit, so please familiarise yourself with the new Stadium layout in advance.>> But, how are we to familiarise ourselves in advance? So, I emailed and they replied .... Hi J Thank you for your email to Stoke City Football Club, it is great to hear from you. Thank you for taking the time to familiarise yourself with the Code of Conduct in advance of Saturday’s match. The point you have raised has been taken on-board and forwarded to the relevant departments. For clarity, you will see additional signage both internally and externally around the bet365 Stadium to provide supporters with further information. In addition, hand sanitising facilities will be located around the stadium as we urge supporters to clean their hands on a more frequent basis than in the past. These additional measures sit alongside our Covid Code of Conduct policy that has been created in response to the spread of Covid-19 in stadium environments which recommends the continued use of face coverings, remaining in seats as much as possible, etc. Entry in to the stadium will only be accessible via the correct block information on the match ticket and will be on signage located outside the stadium on match day. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to welcoming you back for an exciting season at the bet365 Stadium! Kind regards Matt

Unfortunately Dave I think it’ll be the same here come the end of September No doubt about it. I'm off to watch New Order at Heaton Park next week and had an email through today stating I need proof I've been double jabbed.

www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/man-utd-covid-vaccine-passports-21497976Manchester United are to introduce Covid-19 certification spot checks ahead of Saturday's game with Newcastle United, in expectation of it becoming mandatory to enter stadiums from next month. Fans attending the game who are aged over 18 will be required to show that they are either double-jabbed or have had a negative test within 48 hours of kick-off. Spot checks will commence on Saturday but at the moment having a negative test or full vaccination status to enter Old Trafford isn't a mandatory requirement, so any fans who do have the correct certification status will still be permitted to enter the ground. But based on conversations between the government and the Premier League United officials are expecting it to become mandatory in the future, so are encouraging supporters to become accustomed to proving their Covid-19 status from this weekend onwards. Similar trials are expected to be rolled out across the Premier League in the coming weeks. Vaccine passports will become mandatory for large indoor events this month and it's expected the same could happen for outdoor events from October 1.

Game over for me if this happens
I’m fully vaccinated but in no way support this
People have a right to choose if they take a vaccination, it’s not proven to stop the spread, and I can’t be a part of it .
People need to make a stand

Ron’s to the ciew it’s only really hurting you as a principal as it’s definitely coming . Wonder what impact it will have on gates as not only the unvaccinated need to abstain but for others principal or sheer bother will put them off

Please explain
If you’re double jabbed you can still catch COVID. So if I’m double jabbed and catch COVID that means I can spread COVID to others whether they are (1) non jabbed, (2) single jabbed or (3) double jabbed.
So what is the rationale/purpose of a COVID passport.

But I tell ya what, those who don’t want it, steer clear of my grandad who can’t have the vaccine on health grounds.

Agree also people who decided not to have the vaccine are more likely to be hospitalised. It is there choice this was always going to happen so along with there choice that is one not to attend match days or holidays abroad etc

I’m just against the principle of it, it makes no sense, in the same way as you can’t take a bag in, I went the theatre last week and had to have my temperature checked and queu up twice.
I am pro vaccine but but it has to be a choice
Some people are scared, some are women who are worried about their fertility, they shouldn’t be press ganged into it.

Has this been 100% confirmed yet? It all looks very vague to me with reports of 'Nightclubs, indoor settings and other 'large events'.
Also, has it been confirmed whether a 'passport' consists of proof of vaccination, or a negative test in the past 48 hours yet? If so, just open the box of tests, and record one of the serial numbers on the gov website as 'negative'. Job done.

If I've had no jab but have a negative test I can't go in.
If I've been double jabbed and got the virus, I can go in no problem 🤔.
