Over 200,000 people have signed a petition for Sir Tom to have a state funeral, he's a great man who has lived a great life but I have to say I don't agree with this. At a time when thousands of people have lost loved ones and in some cases not even been able to attend their funerals to say goodbye I don't think it's appropriate, I also think it would be a much better use of funds to ensure that homeless veterans are found accommodation or mental health charities are given money in his name.......

I wholeheartedly agree that a state funeral would be appropriate , but ultimately it's for his family to decide, and with social distancing a huge event would be both difficult and dangerous, personally I'd like to see a small family funeral, then when circumstances allow maybe a tribute concert, to raise even more cash, even let Michael Ball grab the mic.
