Two errors in 20 seconds from Bursik.
He may be "able to pass" but his decision making for "when to pass" is awful. Threw us under pressure at least twice versus Blackburn and his attempt for the disallowed goal was poor as well.

Bullshit, he is the least of our problems, error for the goal yes but he has been brilliant since coming in

It’ll come with experience but I think it’s only right for Davis to come back next game after tonight.

Starting to make mistakes now and maybe his inexperience is starting to show in the middle of a poor run. He's looking like his confidence is dropping and is starting to have that rabbit in the headlights look that he had in his first 2 or 3 games. I agree if Davies is fit he should probably come back in.

Bit harsh on Joe. The lad has come in from a loan and done brilliant for us. He’s dropped a couple of bollocks and will probably get dropped and rightly so. But the lad has done himself proud on the whole

Very, very harsh. He's young and he will make mistakes. He's done very well together where he has and to be held to a decent standard.

But the lad has done himself proud on the whole I don't think anyone is being harsh on him, just stating the opinion that his form has dropped, mistakes have started coming that have started to cost us points so now might be the time for a rest with someone like Davies fit again.

Ridiculous thread. Bursik is the man in possession and the good things he had done since coming jn far outweigh the bad. Davies will have to bide his time

He does well to come for crosses (most of the time), but Davies is the much better goalkeeper.

He’s young enough to come again though

Young lad has been superb, makes a mistake and gets jumped on.
Totally uncalled for

Fucking hell youth he's a kid and he'll make mistakes, if he learns from them it's a small price to pay.

Do you think he made mistakes with the pressure of Davies on the bench.

He has done well for us since coming back from his loan, quick off his line and normally claims balls into the box but his shots vs goals % is poor

Just fuck off with these kind of comments!
He's 20 and has done absolutely fantastic since he came in, a few mistakes tonight yes but overall he has been fantastic.
Disgraceful some of you lot are.

Young lad has been superb, makes a mistake and gets jumped on. Totally uncalled for Gotta love all these 'big men' keyboard warriors that think the way to support and help a young lad is to jump on them at any given moment - and this is a lad who's come into a side in intimidating circumstances, way before he was ready and has shone like a freaking trooper. It was wet / windy and miserable out there tonight - he'll learn from it and grow. Good that Davies is back - perhaps Davies should take over as yes Bursik is young and has more years to learn but it's a good dilemma for the manager.

We can't afford Bursik making mistakes in the hope that he'll get 'experience'. In Davies we have a keeper who was in terrific form and in whom the defenders clearly had confidence. He needs to play on Friday.

For me he showed his balls today, after that horrendous 20 seconds, he came out shortly afterwards and took a difficult ball under pressure. Didn't hide and feel sorry for himself. He's clearly made of stern stuff and he will be a top top keeper.

He needs to play on Friday. Its been a good experience for him, but he is tomorrows man, he has done better than anyone expected, but his shot stopping and positioning is not there yet Why take a chance -Davies is more assured and we don't have to worry he may make a rickett

Bursik has much bigger potential than Davies but at this point in their careers Davies is the better keeper. Tough call for MON but for me, I’d bring back Davies on Friday.

‘Thank God’ is too extreme a comment.
However, I would put Davies back in. Bursik has done brilliantly. His ambitious distribution, which should be applauded, has put us under some unnecessary pressure the past two games. Not necessarily the reason to drop him but I would get the senior goalies back in.

Saves per game in the championship:
Adam Davies - 2.5 Angus Gunn - 2.0 Josef Bursik - 1.4 Andy Lonergran - 3.0 (League Cup Game v Spurs)
Ranked 41/45 for shots saved per game in the championship and has played more games than all the other goalkeepers below him combined.
