Excellent? Are you stoned or pissed? That was a shambles the only player to take any credit was cousins. We rolled over and had our belly tickled didn't give them any troubles one bit. Don't mind going out with a fight but that performance tonight with the sunday league mistakes was unacceptable. What were you expecting Danny Baath smashing one in from 30 yards? In his own net maybe. We should have at least given them more to think about after we scored. We were OK for about 10 mins until mourinho clocked on and made his changes then we shit ourselves again. The mistakes were Sunday league stuff. Brown should have stayed on longer and tob should have been subbed earlier instead.

We actually had them worried for a short spell after we equalised but backing off for that second goal was poor even though it was a very good shot. Then Collins played a unnecessary ball to Thompson and he ultimately made a hash of controlling it,which was duly punished by an excellent finish. Very disappointing first half but certainly better second. Spurs were robbed of a perfectly good goal which wasn't offside and but for 2 or 3 good saves from Lonergan it could have looked a lot worse. Bit harsh on Collins,he played a good ball to Thompson who fell asleep. Maybe a tad harsh although it was overhit and he would for me have been better just clearing the ball forwards. But at the same time Thompson was caught ball knapping.😎

Yes mate he did and how he got it I haven’t a clue Was he one of the "Herberts" Pulis often referred to? No he loved him mate and just like many other callers he’s rang up by Radio Stoke for his comments

Thought the midfield were about annonymous in the first half and struggled to get a hold of the game. However when Fletcher came on for fox we did begin to look a bit more threatning.
Second half we came out excellent and the goal was great. Brilliant back heel by Fletcher and then good cross in and finish by Thompson.
There goals there after were slightly disappointing but can't be too downhearted over that as they were probably deserved.
Considering the strength of squad used by spurs and given the stoke injuries and the fact a 4th keeper was making his debut, I think that was a decent performance.
Michael clearly had a plan to keep it tight first half and seems they practiced a few set prices too, just a shame none of them came off.
On the whole a fair result and a decent performance. Hopefully fox's I jury isn't major.

More than happy with that. Got an injury list which wouldn’t look amiss at the Somme and a great bunch of lads, the future is bright again

I don't know what to think really.Having watched Brentford against Newcastle, who are admittedly much poorer than Spurs, they seemed so much better across the park....quicker with more quality and that result wasn't really a surprise . We just seemed aimless, too far apart and too much hoof.......but we comfortably beat the Bees.Go figure.

Given the opposition our injuries and players unavailable this has been a superb performance...anybody who thinks otherwise is totally unrealistic and two mistakes ultimately cost us ...take a bow those young lads We paid them far too much respect 1st half mate but I agree 2nd we played well.Like you say with the amount of players missing and young lads we performed well 2nd half I honestly thought we were better first half, I'd have been happy to continue with that game plan and then tried to go for an equaliser in the last 20 minutes. Considering how many journeymen we have in our starting line up that was a fantastic result and MON deserves great credit.

About as good as could be expected given how strong Spurs went. Whether it was by design or not we looked way off it first half but then came out and matched them for 25 minutes of the second period.
Some good performances in there and some who got punished for mistakes but will hopefully learn from it.
To still be in a game against an excellent side like them with our injuries with 5/10 minutes left says a lot about MON. A good evening’s work.

I was fearing a very limp exit at half-time.
But the second half was fine in the circumstances.
I'm neither particularly happy or down about the 90 minutes as a whole.
Spurs never really had to get out of second gear, but I don't think anyone expected any more.

Lots of positives tonight. And MON will have learned loads too. Won’t be long before he’s going toe to toe with Jose in the Premier League. Fingers crossed it’s with us.

I’m not too disappointed, if Fletcher had scored that header on 84 then it would have been 10 mins of balls into the box and a bit of carnage. Move on. Players coming back. Cov 1-3 Stoke Stoke 2-0 Forest Stoke 2-2 Bournemouth 4th spot 3pts off 2nd 5pts off top Happy New Year 🤣🤣🤣

We were comfortable, but second half we were a little more expansive and although we did get an early equaliser it was too early if that makes sense . I'd have preferred more frustrating football until the last 20 minutes...

I thought we were excellent second half
We definitely were not excellent first half imho
But its bloody hard against world class players and we are playing lot of games so you have to cut them some slack.
Overall, very encouraging and a great learning curve for some of the lads. Its a well done from me.

Some of the criticism on here is incredible. Weve got one eye on the playoffs and am incredibly long injury list and some shit squad players like Vokes and we were playing a pretty much full strength spurs.... give your heads a wobble folks.

Great pride in that performance. Spurs had to play a full first team and bring on Son to back it up as we drew level.to a man we were magnificent and the 5th choice keeper was fabulous. Don’t forget we have far more first choice players still out. What amazing progress we have made in 13 months, it’s astonishing. We are on our way back boys!

Thought Cousins and Collins were the pick today. Thought we did ok considering the team we put out but nothing more. They could have moved up a gear if they needed to. That said there 11 was closer to their best side than ours.

Youve met him then🤣🤣 Unfortunately yes. At the Co-op in Westbury Park where he saw my Stoke jumper and introduced himself as "Kev from Radio Stoke". I kid you not! Does he socialise at a safe distance with Jim from Trentham ?
