I suspect Spurs will put out a number of their squad players rather than week in week out regulars. However I would expect a strong bench with the likes of Kane and Son there. If things are tight with 30 minutes to go we'll see these pair make an appearance, at which point it'll be game over as I can't see us stopping one or both scoring.
I would normally enjoy watching Harry Kane, an absolute cracking player, as is his mate Son, I just don't fancy our chances in keeping them off the score sheet.
Having said that I always keep a glimmer of hope that I'll be proved wrong.
Goooaaarrrnnn Stoke!

MON... listen, play 3 at the back, sit in and let them have the ball, they anner gorra clue how to break a side down, they can only play on the break. Take em to pens, dick em from the spot. One trick pony Jose won't have an answer to that The one truck pony has a rather large trophy cabinet

I wonder if the Tottenham players will try to make use of their "mate" Wimmer to gain useful inside information.

Surely the last 12 months have shown life’s too short not to take the occasional risk?
Go all out.
This is the kind of game MON has built his career on. Odds stacked against him. Find a way to win against all expectations.
It’s a no brainer. Go for it.

I think the younger players in particular will be chomping at the bit for a go at Spurs. Could do more harm than good to leave them out. 100% if you are Souttar or Collins this is the biggest game of your career, no way wil they want to miss it. I imagine Powell, McClean and others will be up for it

In both of his interviews post-match, there was a bit of a hint the team in midweek may be a bit second stringy

In both of his interviews post-match, there was a bit of a hint the team in midweek may be a bit second stringy Batth, McLean, Shawcross maybe? Vokes😲, Verlinden? Tash? Mikel? It's a game too far, real shame Full house with a full side it just might have been a cracker as it is empty stadium with two mix and match sides have to expect the likes of Bale,Alli,Winks to run riot.

On Powell: "We'll have to think about him on Wednesday, and sitting him out to make sure he's ready for Saturday"
"Mikel is unlikely to be available"
"We'll not take any risks with players. Our priority is the league and it may give the chance for some players to step in on Wednesday"
"We've nothing to lose. We can go in slightly more relaxed and it'll give us an opportunity to maybe give some of those players that haven't played much recently some game time as well"

How can any Tier 4 teams travel out of their zone.
This new rule has to be strictly enforced if it is to have any effect.

When are the semi and final scheduled for?
Could the last few games be put off until the new year? Or is this just putting off the inevitable with more problems later?

I wonder if the Tottenham players will try to make use of their "mate" Wimmer to gain useful inside information. Wimmer doesnt train with the seniors, so his information could be of limited value to the Spurs. They're better off reading the Oatcake Mb as every weakness the team has is held up, magnified, and scrutinised from every possible angle.

Looks like Blondy might be starting in goal It would have been nice if NN had been offered a chance to play with seniors before such an important game, but having trained with them for a long time, it may not be a problem after all. I could see Blondy rise to the occasion and play an unforgettable game, then saving a few penalties in the shootout. Harry Kane will demand to swap his shirt afterwards...

He's definitely an entertaining keeper.

Good opportunity for a fair few players to stake a claim. Smith, Batth, Thompson, TOB, Verlinden.
Don't believe any have let us down when called on, just been kept out by players in very good form.
Hope to God we can resist playing Vokes but alas its nailed on, sadly.
