We will be getting Allen, ShawX and Verlinden back for the second half of the season. Campbell, Mikel, Collins, Souttar, Fletcher and Davies are "musts" ; Then there's Clucas, Brown, McClean, Baath, Smith, Thompson, Cousins, Powell, Gregory, Tymon, Tashan, Bursik, ..... and hopefully two new forwards, to replace Vokes and Ince, .... We don't need to replace nothing. We should look for totally different players. When Tibo hits his stride, we don't need a new wide player. We need a player like Fletcher but 6-8 years younger, one we can build on for a long time. What we need is two good fullbacks, who can actually tackle and position themselves properly. We have three but they're all going to cause more problems than they solve. But with Fox having been signed in the summer, and the little money we have, it's probably unlikely the board will sanction any more leftbacks. We do need a mid twenties Fletcher but as ONeill has pointed out that costs big money which we can't spend this window re FFP.

Sign a player on loan who settles in so well both parties want to renew.

Next 2 games....5 points... diane abbott likes this If it was Matt Hancock then we could get 10 points from the next two games- but that does include 4 of the points we've already got being retained.

I’d be happy with 4 points. Boro at home looks the tougher game on paper, but it’s hard to predict any result in the Championship.

must win to keep in contention....as the league starts to shape up properly Contention for what mate?Play offs is the max for this team in my opinion, personally I think we’ll finish around 9/10th MONs 50 game haul of 85 points ( ok some in cup games) might suggest otherwise. Only saying but think play offs are achievable with the possible return of Allen and Davies in new year.

I think we have a shot at Top 6 and I'm normally the world's most pessimistic person when it come to all matters Stoke City. Bayern, you must be using your alt account again.
