Mine is quite limited as I'm Only 31 but Fat Ronaldo Ronaldinho Roberto Carlos Gascoine Zidane Honorable mentions to Maldini, Pirlo, Buffon, Messi and Ronaldo Pirlo is overrated for me. The only reason people go mad on him is because he had one game where he owned midfield against England. Very good player but nowhere near too 5 in anyone’s list. Zidane absolutely deserves to be around the 5, fantastic player

Some names to throw in the mix Beckenbuare, Iniesta, Van Basten and a quirky one who I thought was fantastic, Liam Brady. Ashley Cole, the finest English full back IMO

1. Cristiano Ronaldo 2. Lionel Messi 3. Diego Maradona 4. Paolo Maldini 5. Ronaldo
Pele etc were before my time really.
Top 5 was very hard. Could have chosen several more. CR7 top because he is also a world class header of the ball too.
I really wanted to add Mark Stein. Sixth maybe.
Maldini could have been Baresi. Really close.

Massively underrated player. Brilliant left back. The fittest player I’ve ever seen at the Brit. The first time he came with Chowsay after our promotion, I was in absolute awe at how he got up and down the line solid for the whole match. The guy just didn’t stop.

I've always harboured a suspicion that he's something of a brand rather than a true contender for greatest ever. He's one in a long line of sublime Brazilian players, but as mentioned further up, many Brazilians rate others higher than him.
