Not a terrible result in the grand scheme of things...so long as we get something at Wycombe.

How did we score four the other day 🤔. We weren’t playing Pulis To think there were a number of people on here who wanted him back, and probably still do to this day.
Playing against him twice a season is still too much for me. Boring as hell.

What an absolute brain dead, uncommitted, pile of horse shit performance that was. The last two games have told us where we will be this season. Very poor Stoke with the only positives being a point and a clean sheet fir Bursik.

Lack of creativity, lack of pace and no ideas of what to do to change a game. Not really sure how we approach the rest of the season with the personnel we have. Allen will be needed to add some vitality in the middle and it would be good to see Verlinden given opportunities off the bench to ring the changes. We’re restricted by FFP so unless we get rid of some of the unwanted, nothing new will be happening but I’d like to see us make use of the loan system at the very least with a couple of clever signings.

Well that was exciting. Never made a decent chance until right at the end. Subs should have been made sooner. I think promotion is a dream. The defence were decent. Collins had a good game out of position.

Vokes is dire, he had the best cross of the game just begging to be buried, in fact supposedly his bread and butter and no, can't get off the ground. Thought Collins did well, as in fact did Chester..

When the game is really shite and chances are hard to come by, you really need to get something from set-pieces. We had a number of free-kicks in good positions and every single one was beyond dreadful.

Mikel my MOTM with Collins and Fox a close second. Not much to shout about though, was there? Collins?? could/should have had a penalty first half and that's about it.

Well..
Bearing in mind we were playing a team who had no intention of risking the point
Bearing in mind we had do endure Vokes up top instead of Fletcher and displaying the poise and finesse of a cement mixer only less mobility.
Bearing in mind we had a rookie keeper.
Bearing in mind McLean played like he had spent self isolation on the piss
And bearing in mind we were never going to score.
I'll take the 0-0 and move on !

Mikel and maybe Bannon were the only thing on that pitch that resembled a footballer. Shocking.

A painful watch...need to be getting more than a point in games like these if we are to be serious contenders for the play-offs/promotion...The biggest frustration for me is that we always seem to slow down to the pace and intensity of the opposition instead of forcing it ourselves, I suppose it's not yet another loss to a TP side though.
We really need to go on a run of 2 or 3 wins to get back in the mix now...

Allen doesn't do anything for our creativity though so he won't make any difference to whats happening and thats if he comes back the same player. I still think it needs to be Clucas or Mikel alongside Cousins ane let them get forward with Cousins sitting deep as the cover, having them both sit is killing us creatively in games like this.

Campbell is wasted on the wing, we need him up top He’s scored all his goals wide this year and plenty of assists. The problem is without Fletcher the other central strikers are garbage band Powell far too wasteful. We need another central striker in January if possible

Collins for me as playing out of normal position But Fox, Mikel and Clucas all solid as well Fair point, but he did let 2-3 dangerous crosses in. Not sure why Pulis brought their LW off. Fox didn't give anyone down that side a sniff, and did well in possession too.

That was an absolute tragedy to football. Both sides as bad as each other and two negative managers happy to grind out a dour 0-0. Mikel the only player on the pitch that resembled anything like a footballer. To be fair I think we tried to win. We were just nowhere near good enough. Its frightening what a difference Fletcher makes to our attacking play.
