Didn't really appreciate just how young the side that finished the game on Saturday was. Hopefully some real good times ahead.

Jeez, Whos is that voice doing the interviewing? George or Ange, in truth they are better than in previous seasons the inhouse interviewer post match.

Why does the second interviewer repeat the questions already asked by Angela???
Was he not listening? Crikey!
Ange is good, but the other guy is embarrassing imho

Ange is good, but the other guy is embarrassing imho It was George “in more ways than one” Andrews. An eccentric legend! If you noticed, before he came on someone told him he was on mute so it’s possible (although not probable) that he had the whole thing muted before he kicked in!

Ange is great - straight to the point and no daft questions. Is George a Brummy/Dingle, if so what is his interest and how has he got a platform?

Ange is good, but the other guy is embarrassing imho I'd imagine the radio station he works for wouldn't be best pleased if he said 'No further questions as you've covered it all in the previous interview' He could always use his imagination and ask some different questions. e.g.Ange focusses on individual players (Brown/Shawcross). He could ask about Collins at right back, how players like Fox have settled, what he has learnt about specific players so far, Formations/Tactics how they have changed over the season and why, referees, the away team's portacabin!, potential signings in the new season, Verlinden, Bursik etc, etc might not be the most mind blowing questions but at least they are not just repeating Ange's Qs.

Who is George Andrews working for these days?
In many, many ways, I thought he'd retired.
To be fair, it's nice to see anyone covering us. We get zero coverage apart from Pete Smith's excellent stuff and something from Percy every 3 months.

We get zero coverage apart from Pete Smith's excellent stuff and something from Percy every 3 months. As I say I think Ange is great and it is obviously easier if you get the first round of questions but I can just detect the subtle exasperation in MON's face when he realises he has to go through answering a question he just answered 2 minutes earlier. I agree all coverage is welcome. I don't know whether he gets paid or not, but my school report would be reading something like...'Could make more effort in class'

My biggest problem with these questions are that they are far too leading. Just ask his opinion on x,y,z without trying to put your own in their to show how much thought you’ve given it.
Reporters questions should be short, sharp and open ended. A press conference is a time for the manager to connect with fans, not for the reporter to take up half of it listing all the reasons why their question is great before asking it.

Disappointing re verlinden. It's not the fact he's behind brown and Campbell that's frustrating, but behind vokes, ince etc who are contributing nothing

Wonder whether a loan may be on the cards. Could well be Ince starting tomorrow then.

I'd drop mclean tomorrow, he's not been at it the last 2 games.
I'd go Ince (gulp), Fletcher and Brown.

www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/stoke-city-transfer-blackburn-live-4888146Injury updateFletcher and Gregory still on way back, Gunn and Davies have joined in training today but probably not yet in consideration. Fox is back running. Tyrese Campbell is out for the long term. Josh Tymon should be back from Saturday after a positive Covid test. Stoke have been tested today and will have results back tomorrow. Nick Powell should be fine after (non-Covid) illness and a hip problem. Are Stoke still chasing a striker?Michael O'Neill: "Everyone is looking for a striker and particularly in this window, options are limited. We can't go out and spend £5m on a striker. More likely it would be someone coming in on loan. We'll have to see... options are very limited. "We also have to be mindful of players we have in the building. We have to think that players on the periphery could move on." Close to any exits?Michael O'Neill: "In every window we've tried to reduce the squad. It will be more difficult in this window. We still have five or six out on loan at other clubs. There are players who have played very limited minutes who need to find regular first team football. "As a parent club we can only accommodate that if someone inquires. It's not a case of us denying them the opportunity. "There are clubs who aren't openly inquiring yet. Financially it's a more difficult window." Alfie Doughty updateMichael O'Neill confirms discussions are ongoing with Stoke and Charlton - and probably a little bit more complicated because the player is currently injured.
