Drawn 3-3 with Andorra Hopefully they sack Boothroyd asap. That would be the best course of action, yes. Not sure how he ever got the job to be fair. Looking at the table though it doesn't make a hoot of difference, so he'll probably stay in a job.

Boothroyd is a joke, isn't he?
They'd do better with Betty bloody Boothroyd

He really is and like the post above, how did he ever get the job? A failed lower league manager in charge of some of the best young players in the world. But lets talk about those players, they've got to have some professional pride and just make sure beat fecking Andorra. We bought Hudson-Odoi, Nketiah, Bellingham and Sessegnon off the bench!

I'm chuffed that our own Bursik was an unused sub. Making his debut and conceding 3 goals against Andorra would not look great on any keeper's CV!

Maybe Andorra have a crop of outstanding young talent coming through, and in a few years they’ll be international heavyweights....
Maybe.

It would be like employing TP to get Boothroyd, a really shit version of TP. Awful

Boothroyd is a joke, isn't he? They'd do better with Betty bloody Boothroyd England is a joke period. Everyone's so full of themselves they think they have a god given right to always be the best, and yet for the 50 odd years they've done next to nothing to deliver on that premise.

Southgate needs to get a grip of the first team squad as well because the amount of times that the players are "breaking protocols" is stacking up.

But it's extremely entertaining. There aren't many pleasures left in life, but watching England huff and puff through qualification, and the first group stages of a tournament - to be beaten by (usually) the first half decent opponent they meet in the latter stages - is one of them.

Those 3 who "partied" are clearly not bothered enough to take Southgate seriously.

A hoofball dinosaur such as Boothroyd should not be in charge of the best group of young players we've had in decades.
Can you imagine Claude Puel coaching France U21s?

What did Sterling and Gomez do, genuinely don't remember Abraham,Sancho and Chilwell before they were on England duty, absolutely nothing Southgate could have done to prevent that. What's he supposed to do demand they turn up for England duty the minute the last prem game finishes?

It appears that Joe Bursik, on u-21 duty for the first time, was not in the actual line up but a non-playing sub, so SCFC can't be blamed for England's downfall...

Some players are that fucking thick they think rules don’t apply to them. That’s not really Southgates fault, they’re supposed to be grown men🤷🏻♂️

Meanwhile to put the above result into perspective, Andorra's full team is at this moment losing to the Cape Verde Islands...

Huge doff of the cap to the Guardian for that headline.
