I think there are others that need moving on before Indi and I doubt anyone else will want him on his wages, so we are likely to be stuck with him till the end of contract. Best option is probably to keep him as a squad player for cover till his contract runs out. What is it with this club that we loaned Indi for a season and he was very good, so we bought his contract after Porto messed us about and welched on the deal. Consequently he went back to Porto, but eventually they came round and we signed him, having missed pre-season. Subsequently he was never as good as his loan season and we have seen a steady deterioration since, but that is hardly his fault as Jones had little use for him. Indi is not the only player who starts well with us and then deteriorates. No, but you would think a player with his intelligence and ability would see that his performances are not getting him back into the Holland team. It strictly speaking wasn't Jones that had little use for BMI, it was BMI who had little use for Jones and us. The former might make sense, the latter hovers on dispute. But since no club would take him, he ended up with us. Again. And again. And again.

The kind of player we dont need. He can't be arsed to even disguise the fact that he can't be arsed. I dread to think what he earns. And, he's not very good. I think that sort of questioning should really be put to the balls he put on the line vs Leeds last week. It did surprise I must admit.

A move back to the continent would be best but it all depends on wages i suppose

He's being played out of position. I don't think deserves to be labelled "shite".
But if he isn't one of the three best choices for CB then its probably time to part company with him.

There is no way he is as bad as is being made out on here. The bloke has 34 full international caps for the Netherlands for heaven's sake, he's not flipping playing at it! Talk about hyperbole...

[/quote He is every bit as bad as people are making out. Did he win more than two caps while he’s been at Stoke- he may have been good 5 or 6 years ago, but after the first 6 months here, he’s been atrocious. Supposedly quick, but runs like he’s in treacle, has no idea how to pick a man up, and you feel like you’ve won the lottery if he passes it to a Stoke player. Other than that he’s okay.

Too weak in the air for the Championship unfortunately! Not a bad player, but we really should have better left backs at a club like Stoke!

I would keep him personally. Still the best footballing CH at the club but currently being asked to do a job at LB due to our horrific recruitment policy.
The fact that he is a CH playing out of position and still keeping 2 players who are dedicated LB's out of the team means he cant be that bad, or at least MON agrees with me...

It means that Ward and Tymon are donkey droppings, not that Indi is any good at full back- hence why he’s been dropped by Rowett, Jones and O’Neill. We’re just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic with any of the 3 who play as left backs

We need a new LB, probably two. It only makes sense to keep Bruno if we can’t bring one in, because, sadly, he’s the best we got at the moment.

You can hardly say he's let us down and he has been one of our most reliable defenders surely!

Don’t think he’d sign one and no anyway.

Ultra professional, filling in at left back all season, even though it’s not his position. Done a good job, even though he must be gritting his teeth. Centre half next season, give him a contract, Stoke. Hope we can do better.

If he was played at his rightful position then yes but LB definitely no.

We are desperate for some pace in the full back positions and if a new contract for Bruno means we don’t get that then it’s a no for me.

We shouldn't have signed him in the first place, he's been poor for us for the most part, prefered position or not, we should look to let him go and use his wages for an actual left back.

He certainly isn't any sort of answer at left back. I'm a bit surprised that he has made as many mistakes as he has done in that position because he isn't one of those tall CBs who are not physically right to do well at full back (e.g. Collins and Shawcross). But the fact is that his reputation at left back means that many of our opponents concentrate their attacks on his wing - with considerable success.
Personally, I feel he is still a better cb than Chester at this stage of Chester's career. If we had a decent left back at the club I suspect that MON would be using a CB pairing of 2 from the 4 of Baath, Shawx, Collins and Indi.

It's in Stoke and their interest they move on.
