Currently 6 points clear of relegation with 5 to play (with Wigan -12 points and our goal difference). 1 win to make sure, but today has eased the pressure massively. We are no where near safe. Hull and boro win tomorrow and we’re back down there.

We’re nowhere near safe. Two more wins minimum. Really? With 46 points, the best goals difference and Wigan’s points deduction? No one has ever gone down from the championship with 52 points

Nah, still too close yet, points still needed and MON might have another brain fart, but it does give some hope. A brain fart like today would work 4 more points for me but took a massive step

Leeds a Birmingham h Bristol C a Brentford h Forest a We are more than capable of losing all of those. Wigan may ultimately rescue us as we are effectively 5pts off relegation currently. Forest might play their kids if they're safely in the playoffs...

It's not over by a long way just yet. Plenty more surprise results possible and lots of potential "6 pointers" between teams involved in the relegation scrap. I think Brum could have a big part to play as they still have to play three of the bottom teams (including us).
I reckon we need a minimum of 4 more points, possibly as many as 6, to be sure of avoiding the drop.

No, we're 2 points clear but Middlesbrough have two games in hand and Hull have one. So it's not over yet. So Middlesbrough are playing 47 games this season?

Bloody hell mate, nothing like a knee-jerk!
Let's not get ahead of ourselves, anything can happen here given how unpredictably and instantly we can flip from decent to shite.
We certainly shouldn't make bold statements like that until it's mathematically certain in this climate.

I’d say loser is gone, winner has a chance of staying up. Neither will want the draw but I wouldn’t guarantee that both are gone right now.

2 points above relegation with a tough run in.
I'm doubtful the Wigan points deduction will happen, Lisa Nandy on the case, these are strange times.

We need another performance like today at home to Birmingham.... I'd take a scrappy point at Bristol.... And for anything from Forest, who for the position they're in, I've not been convinced by them this season at all??? 🤔

A lot of people already celebrated when we beat Hull and guaranteed we were out of trouble. One suspects some of the players did the same celebrations or at least relaxations.
Do it again and we can still go down.

4 points for me will do it and those should be quite achievable from Blues at home and Bristol City away. The latter have happily lost every game since returning from lockdown.

We have enough quality but it will be tight and a few rogue results benefitting other teams could cost us. We have made it harder than we needed to and probably need to take points of at least 2/maybe 3 of Leeds, Brentford, Forest and Bristol City. We can’t bank on Wigan, the EFL has handled it badly and Wigan folding costs us points and would bring Barnsley 2 points closer
