7 - didn't see the game, but ditto re. unbalanced back four. Surely Collins must be played in his best position, not as a back, strange choice. We always restart slowly.. hopefully this 'run-out' will help - big encouragement to get a sweet last min goal. Cannot bloody wait for us to get a half decent left back.... (anyone in the reserves??)
Well done MoN for positive subs, abit earlier may've swung it even better - he'll be back on the training pitch next week - a definite plus!

I think he would prefer to choose a settled team We have a lot of players at the club, too many and before lockdown it seemed that quite a few are not in his plans going forward Atm the larger squad may be an important factor as we try to avoid relegation. Maybe he’s wary of overplaying some of the key players, although arguably, start the first few games with the best possible 11 and get the points on the board It’s all about our results, an important point yesterday, both in the table and for team morale

Hard to rate any manager yesterday. Some strange results, even Nathan Jones side never lost😁.

Was surprised when looked at Reading Form prior to lockdown....they re not an awful side...out played us 1st half...drab 2nd.....when time came for tactical kitchen sink - it paid off!!.... MON has got bigger balls than previous managers in recent years - #8 Re your bold, I know Michael has been pretty loyal to his preferred players since he took over at Stoke, but if he thinks changes are needed for your next game, he certainly won't be afraid to make them.
When NI went off to France for the Euro's, he picked a tried and tested team for the first game, versus Poland. But on the day they froze and were lucky to lose just 1-0.
For the next game against Ukraine, a "must win" for both teams, he had the choice of sticking with the same players and giving them a chance to put things right.
Instead he made 5 changes - no-one had expected that, I can tell you - and it paid off handsomely, as the new selection/formation/tactics outplayed a decent Ukraine 2-0.

4. Starting 11 totally wrong. The decision to play 4 centre half’s at A club like reading was awful. The football was crap, we had no ideas and got out of jail thanks to a shit referee. 3 huge games coming up that we need wins not draws
