Previously there was no UK streaming because of the 3pm rule and TV rights. If they've managed to negotiate a deal for ST holders there is no reason it won't be available to anyone as PPV.

As soon as the Supporters Council have the full details I will post further information. The club will provide further details regarding refunds next week.

Please make certain your details are up to date! Absolutely no use to those of us that live out in the sticks and have the shittest of shit broadband speeds. Never been able to stream anything at all - takes 8 hours to download a standard definition film from Sky.

I hope the club have upgraded their package with the stream provider. Last time I used it, the quality was "interesting" to put it mildly.

I'm not one to knock the Stoke infrastructure but this is a recipe for disater I'm afraid. On the odd occasion I have been abroad and wanted to buy rights to watch a game, the process of paying and logging on has been plagued with problems to the point where I've mostly given up and logged into a commentary on Signal Radio. Stoke will really have to up their game for this to provide their customers with a decent service and past experience does not fill me with confidence.

Come round and fit superfast fibre optic broadband for you? Ignore social distancing advice and just let everyone who can't watch the stream into the ground?

No reason why it can't be broadcast free to air like some of the Premier league matches

Perhaps my comment came across rather poorly. I'm not criticising them at all. There's nothing else they really can do. It's just part of living in the sticks - my choice. I've already decided to donate any money left on my season ticket to the Donna Louise. If I could watch it I dont see the point watching a match with no spectators and no atmosphere - that's not nogger - its just a shell of a sport without a live auduence. I just think trying to complete the season is a bonkers idea anyway but I suppose that's for another thread - and i understand the clubs have to play if their paymasters tell them to

No reason why it can't be broadcast free to air like some of the Premier league matches Yes there is a reason. The clubs are in desperate need of some revenue so they can pay their players and staff and stay in business.

Not sure when the last time you used it was but the quality improved a fair bit after lengthy teething problems and was something approaching acceptable and consistent this season.

The clubs are in desperate need of some revenue so they can pay their players and staff and stay in business. I have no problem with contributing part of my season ticket fee to cover the wages of the none playing staff and associated workers who are not on big salaries, but I do have a problem in contributing to the players and staff who earn big money and haven't had to endure being furloughed or even worse losing their jobs. Also is this really all SCFC think of their loyal ST holders, I would prefer a credit note towards next years ST and all supporters choose whether they want to pay to watch a live stream or not (has anyone really watched the German Bundesliga behind closed doors, it is absolute crap) Rant over...….

Please make certain your details are up to date! "The campaign will resume behind closed doors for Michael O'Neill and his players on June 20 and all nine of the Potters' remaining league games will be streamed live via Stoke City+ on the Club's official website and app.
The Club, in association with StreamAMG, will issue promotional codes to Season Card holders who elect to take advantage of the streaming offer."
There are two elements to that statement that jump out to me. 1. Season ticket holders are going to be able to view both home and away matches for no additional cost, which for me is an absolute bargain, I'll take that for sure. 2. The fact that they use the words "elect" and "advantage" would suggest to me, that you have an option (and that's the important bit) and really, what could possibly be the alternate option but a refund? Which will surely satisfy everybody else who doesn't " elect to take advantage of the streaming offer." So all round, what more could the club do? Seems just about perfect to me.

So if there are 2 of you in a house with season tickets you're effectively paying about £30+ through your season tickets per match, when you could just be paying £10 for 1 stream that you can both watch. No deal, Noel! I'll have my refund and pay the £10 per match thank you!

Maybe it's my age or just life in general but I've no appetite to pay a tenner to watch a 0-0 at Reading played in an atmosphere akin to Vale Park with a pre season feel to it.

What happens when there are multiple season ticket holders in the same property.
Will I get a number of access codes in line with the number of season tickets.
If so, I’m assuming I can give one away (albeit there might be a risk with security aspects).

What will be done about the elderly section of our support that don't have access to the internet, so therefore cannot create or maintain a MyStoke account? All official club communications refer to the MyStoke page, and if you don't have an account you are advised to create one.
How are people supposed to contact the club and update their preferences when they can't log on to the internet and the phone lines aren't open?

Well my experience of SC+ is pretty poor. Can not get in. Can not re register under a different name but same e mail.
I will try opening a new e mail and name but that will be different to my ST. real name !
Off to hide all the sharp knives.
