A home win and two away draws, and were in a worse position That’s ridiculous. Most of us would have taken five points before those games yet it could see us in the bottom three And a win next week could potentially see us up to 17th
Crazy League

Drawing away and winning at home is promotion form!
We just have to keep it up until the end of the season.

Drawing away and winning at home is promotion form! We just have to keep it up until the end of the season. It puts a lot of pressure on the home games though. Hull won’t be as bad next week as they have been in recent weeks, law of averages dictates that for a start.

Losing to Preston and QPR gives us 1 win in 5
Different ways of looking at it

For me now it is 3 teams down from 6
Reading Wigan and Huddersfield will stay up..... I'm 100% sure.
Its 50/50 for us and if we don't beat Hull we are in big trouble I would say

Anyone would have taken our results this week before last Saturday but that penalty plus the Wigan result was an absolute sickener. Unbelievable how the bottom of the league is panning out.
Next Saturday is massive - if we win we go above Hull and we will surely be able to get more points than them from then until the end of the season. Plus Charlton playing Boro at the same time means at least one of them dropping points.

This is 100% the managers fault.
He didn't have to set up so negatively and had he been more positive recently, won one of those last two games and lost the other by opening up the team then we'd be one point better off with a better goal difference.

It is feeling a bit like the relegation from the Prem. Draw and sit back when we should have gone for it e.g. West Ham away and missing vital chances
Really does feel like 50/50 right now

91 mins and we are in 18th, we keep shooting ourselves in the head when we see freedom. Stoke will never change, complacency will always stop us from being a top club.

It’s not 100% the managers fault though that’s crazy? If Ince sticks one of his 3 chances away and we go two up we win the game comfortably. Disappointing to concede so late and it absolutely feels like a missed opportunity but the players have to take responsibility as well.....

Yes, players miss chances of course they do, but to go to Luton who have conceded 71 goals this season and have less than double figures shots on goal, where Wigan had 13 away to the league leaders, is handicapping you before you start. Barnsley have won one and lost one of the last two games - gained one more point than us in the process. They won away at Hull but lost to Reading. They had 45 shots on goal in two games whereas we had a combined 20 in the last two games. Being more positive and giving your players more chances surely increases your chances of scoring more and winning more games?

Whilst a win was preferable, we did at least get an away point against an in form team who have won 3 of their last 4 games.
Put it another way, if we had won 1-0 we would all be cock-a-hoop because we had moved up to 18th place and we, including the players, would start to think we are getting out of a hole and relax before the next critical matches.
MON has been let down by the players (again) who failed to take their chances in the first half, let the opposition attack us in the second half, and ended up with a silly mistake, which has been happening repeatedly. Exceptions being Vokes who scored again and Allen who tidied up a lot of lose balls.
I consider this a good wake-up call that recent success under MON still means nothing till we are a lot higher in the table.

Wigan got 9 points. Against tougher teams imo So, all that means is Wigan are a better team. MON has done miracles with a terrible squad.

O’Neill has the strongest squad in the division by a country mile. They only need motivating and thankfully he is much better at this than the two previous managers.

In the run up to this week we had had two 4 goal hidings (one from 2 nil up) and lost 2 nil at home In these tree games we picked up 5 points and only conceded 1 penalty. We were a clumsy, needless challenge and a couple of minutes from 7 points and 3 clean sheets. It's a great response we're doing owrate.

We have a strong squad on paper, unfortunately they turn to paper mache under a bit of pressure Football is played on grass not paper We are dreadful. There are very few of today's starting 11 that I hope will be here next season...that's how strong a squad they are.

Never been a top club in over 100years,Support base not bigger enough, and if it was not for the Coates we would not of spent 10 years in the Prem, just except it’s part of been a Stoke fan.
