To a certain extent, I agree.
However, the same old problems keep coming back.
Too slow in mind and action, lack of control, lack of passing ability.
It’s been like this for 3 years now.
We always look like we are playing half speed compared to the opposition.

We were shit but we're not going to be good every week. See what happens next Sat. Hopefully Chester makes a difference.
Just a reminder for us that we're still a relegation-battling side.

We've been battered by a remarkably average side. It can happen in this division but an exceptionally worrying evening.

You can't win them all.
The worrying aspect of tonight was the performance. There are ways to lose a game and that certainly wasn't it.

Terrible performance tonight. But the same issues rearing there heads in the main. Both centre half’s are completely shit, no left back. Midfield don’t show to receive the ball from the defence, hiding all the time. When they do get it they don’t want to turn and try make something happen they just lay it first time then hide again. Absolutely no movement what so ever anywhere in the pitch. No1 getting in between the lines or finding pockets of space. No pace. And apart from Campbell ours strikers are hopeless. Fair play to MON for getting what he has out of this bunch of shit so far.

Just need to be balanced
People wanking off after we played WBA at exactly the right time, they are dreadful at the moment.
Likewise people suicidal tonight.
We are where we are on merit. Poor team and O'Neill knows the job in hand I'd imagine.

We are still very much in a relegation battle & i can see it going right down to the wire. You after laugh at the idiots who keep saying the play offs are still possible. Those 2 wins over the Baggies & swansea were very nice but tonight was a real reality check & just shows how poor this side can be.

We've been battered by a remarkably average side. It can happen in this division but an exceptionally worrying evening. I agree but I don't think it was 'exceptionally worrying'. Perhaps a reality check after so many of us have been carried away a little too much by our form since O'Neil arrived? The next game against Charlton will be a better gauge as to how we're progressing. As TC said on the wireless, these things happen sometimes and he thought it certainly wasn't a real reflection on the game. OS.

For me, the performance reeked of 11 individuals who thought they were safe and the hard work was over...

We've been battered by a remarkably average side. It can happen in this division but an exceptionally worrying evening. No we didn't get battered at all. Derby just put there chances away. We were not as bad as score may suggest. But stoke lose by 4 goals and it's the end of the world and every stoke player is shit 😠 Pathetic!

Everything dropped for them especially the third and fourth goals. If we had not given the second so quickly we would have had a shout. But good to bring some reality back to the players. Signing a defender shows what MON thought anyway

Although he made some errors, but he got stuck in and was not phased by his first run out in a long time. We were weaker down the left side after he went off injured.

I hope it was a ‘one off’. For me, the performance reeked of 11 individuals who thought they were safe and the hard work was over... Can’t win ‘em all, but the manner of our defeat was alarming. Not one decent performance last night, from Butland all the way though the team to Vokes. We could have still been playing now and not scored.

It's pretty obvious that these players as a group will never gel as a team, they will constantly lapse back into these type of performances, because they lack a backbone, we are kidding ourselves if we think they will ever be transformed into aside that can ever be challenging to get out of this division. There is still a lot of work to be done.

Having just watched a vid of the game, we can be blamed for some poor defending and closing down but they were four well-taken goals. We didn't deserve to win but it will be a long time before things click for Derby as they did last night. Paradoxically, I'm more concerned by our lack of attacking skill than conceding those goals.
OS.

I actually thought he played well. At one point danced through 3 players then for no one to show for him for a pass, which led to a two player sandwich on him. Always looked tidy and looked forward, some nice tackles put in. Let runners go at times and got drawn into the centre a few times, but for me the standout player in that shower last night.
