2 top class strikes and a great free kick, shit header to concede though. Thought we bossed the 2nd half until they scored Brings us back down to earth, just pray the results dont punish us tomorrow Looks like Charlton are going to dump us back to fourth from bottom. Not to worry as we play them next week, win and we go above them

Looks like Charlton are going to dump us back to fourth from bottom. Not to worry as we play them next week, win and we go above them Yeah, I was going to add that. I was attracted to the thread because I do regard Friday night as a one off. A change to the back four, with an inexperienced player replacing someone of Bruno’s calibre, no Campbell (still) and therefore no pace up front, and having Carthorse Vokes leading the line - all against a hungry Derby smarting from their defeat at Luton and who are pretty unbeatable at home. Plus a small matter of Rooney directing the midfield battle. It’s a blip in an upwards curve IMHO and we will prove it by thumping Charlton on Satdee. We have new players to come in, and the interesting prospect of Campbell and Verlinden (and Ngoy?) offering a pacier attack as the season progresses, and certainly next season.
