Hard to guess who it might be. Because it sounds like he wouldn't get loads of game time - and you'd think most young loanees would want to go somewhere where they'd play the bulk of games. Ganer at Man Utd is supposedly going to a lower-league team if he's loaned so he can play. And someone like Skipp could play most games if they went out. www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/news/tottenham-transfer-news-live-piatek-17645862Oliver Skipp makes sense to head out on loan as with Gedson Fernandes coming in it’s another person in front of him getting minutes in the months ahead. At 19-years-old, a loan move would probably do him the world of good.

Given our Welsh contingent, there's Dylan Levitt at Man Utd and Terry Taylor at Wolves, who was also at Aberdeen for a couple for most of his development, so might be on O'Neill's radar?

Galbraith makes loads of sense.
Man Utd seem to be very open to him going. No prospect of another loan where he'll play every week.
Yet special relationship with MON means he'll take him, as Onlooker says maybe with an eye to loaning him for the full season next year?

We’ve got our own young midfielders who need games. Sorrensson Dunwoody? Porter. Really don’t see the point. Unless we sell one of Allen or Cousins and get this person with the aim of signing them.

Porter. Really don’t see the point. Unless we sell one of Allen or Cousins and get this person with the aim of signing them. When we got Ryan I'm sure the initial loan was for Man Utd's benefit at the time. Wouldn't be surprised to see Allen go in the summer anyway.

That makes a whole load more sense than the Chester signing, in the overall context.

Does this one jump in ahead of the Rangers laddie, or is this as well as? '
(Of course, we could always have been knocked back as half the C'ship seem to be chasing him.)
Maybe it's been expectation management and the spectre of FFP looming over us but I've always had the feeling it was two max.
(Not necessarily the right two of course but "in Mo'N we trust ..." etc. etc.)

Seems worth a loan for a few months. Whether he signs a new deal there or not, I'm sure if he does well and he's happy then he could be back on loan for next season anyway. On the otherhand, if we can persuade him to join permanently (assuming he fits in well), then we could have pulled off a masterstroke. And If he's shit then, no harm done

Hmm, difficult to tell from those clips due to the opposition, but he seems like a central midfielder not a defensive one. Combative, good range of passing and favours one pass above others! He's Irish and that's why we're guessing, but Skipp at Spurs is a DM and has more experience. However, you'd think we'd be looking at someone who probably isn't too far away geographically.

We’ve got our own young midfielders who need games. So if it's a choice between playing one of our own youngsters or a youngster from another club who may be better we should go for one of our own as a matter of principle? In a highly competitive league do you actually think that makes any sense?

Bayern, one of your much heralded midfielders has just ended up at Wrexham after you tipped him for the First Team, so forgive me for not quite trusting in your opinion.

I like his range of passing on those clips, economical and progressive, unlike Woods was.

Would he get games though? If Allen stays I cannot see him or Clucas making way and we have just signed Thompson?
