I have no issue with bet365 and gambling etc but people have, can and will have a go at us about the morality of our owners.
Obviously not on the level as the Saudi's.

No. I’m pretty sure the Coates family haven’t beheaded anybody yet We could be pedantic and question how much distress and human misery Companies like BET365 have caused through their activities. Gambling addictions, failed marriages, mental and physical health problems, extreme debt situations, despair and suicides, social disadvantage. And that's just amongst Stoke City Supporters. But seriously are the Saudis really any different. To make the amount of money that the Coates family have out of other peoples weaknesses, has to raise serious questions about the morality of their involvement. In my opinion that is.

Of course they will 😡 Pot, kettle black really isn’t it. We, that being The Coates Family have literally made billions from other people’s misery, but as long as Stoke City keep on ticking over, then that’s ok with us. Not a targeted dig at you personally by the way, were all guilty of being complacent with it, especially when we were sitting pretty in the Premiership. But, money makes the world go round and you will find wherever there is a company that big, turning over those kind of profits, someone is always suffering at the other end of it. Fuel, gambling, pharmaceuticals, food, you name it, they’re all guilty of causing misery for their own financial gains.

It's amazing how much money can 'sportswash' public opinion
I bet there wont be too many protests at St James's Park if they have the chance to spend money like Citeh
How many would boycott if they came here?

I think this crown Prince MBS character makes the "Citeh" owners look like street vagrants in a comparative wealth sense. I am sure I read somewhere the guy is worth 800 billion Edit: Just googled it and the Saudi Royal family is worth £1.7 trillion, jaysus that's ridiculous.

Stoke City FC are actually the proof that throwing money at football doesn’t guarantee anything at all.
I foresee it going badly for Newcastle, if it goes through.

Not condoning betting companies at all but at least the people who suffer from the addiction have free choice which can't be said about women in Saudi. Look at workers rights in those Arab countries as well. Indian workers are treated like cattle and health and safety for them is non existent. Beheadings and public stonings? Gambling addiction comes nowhere near the suffering in some Middle East countries. But hey they have the money so let's turn a blind eye, let them invest in football, give them the World Cup. Ask my brother in law how many workers have died constructing the stadiums for the Qatar World Cup. It's not quite the pot and kettle situation.

But £1.7 trillion might disagree with you. I cant even put that in numbers, is it £1,700,000,000,000? Bet their credit rating is off the charts!!

It’s hard to do no matter how much money. We spent insane money ourselves and got nowhere for the above reasons. It’s crazy hard.

I don't know what the Coates family is worth but if we assume 5 billion it makes the Crown Princes family worth 340 times their value I think
