Playing the youth is doing wonders, we're now seen as the club everyone wants to use to develop their players.

Shock Who would have thought MON set us up to defend until we could address our poor attacking options I reckon Jose and MON would get on, probs offered us Clarke during our cup tie Haha nonsense. We had options and he chose not to use them, the last month has been a pathetic effort. When MON is trying to sign young wingers left, right and centre but won't play Verlinden their has to be a problem with him. Can you not see that? It could be he's asked to go, mentally not over his injury, physically not right, attitude and many other reasons we are not privy to.

if we were to get promotion with a few young loan players in the team the likelihood is that they may want to stay and carry on in the Premier.

We had options and he chose not to use them, the last month has been a pathetic effort. Which options were they then? I'm guessing you're referring yet again to Verlinden who you obviously think you are a better judge of than the coaching staff. To think he could be our main attacking threat and if he was on the field we'd not need to be defensive is slightly ridiculous. Unlike youth football when a team only have one attacking threat the opposition target him and double mark him. Even Powell has struggled with that since Campbell's injury. If MON is an ultra defensive manager and the last few weeks have been how he likes to play instead of emergency measures, and if he doesn't trust youth how come he is targetting all these potentially exciting players?

I think the club realise this is last chance saloon with FFP, so as they are in a handy position league position wise, they are giving it a go this window. They can't be faulted for that, even if we don't succeed. If we fail to get promoted, it's cut your cloth accordingly moving forward.

We got promoted to the prem in 2008 with 4 loan players in the starting 11. And many who weren’t That whole season was built on loan players and we used the system superbly Michael has clearly found our Tone's notebooks and diaries in a cupboard and is now following the promotion blueprint. Loans will now represent the way forward. We experimented a bit with Tone's alphabetic guide, "A" and attack and the possible options of Allen and Afobe, and then went on to page "B" so at present we are just moving out of Binary. Where this leaves the Brown experiments is hard to say! Edit. Maybe the next focus is on building a team based on a core of "C's". Cousins, Collins, Chester, Clucas and now Clark.

It's thinking the same as thinking Campbell could have done it 13 months ago. Yeah he'd help Powell Unlike what we have had to endure this past month, that's my bloody point! There's no doubt that he's been overly defensive and wasted a month. But like I've always said he's a good manager. I don't think he overly has faith in youth either, they're just the best players at his disposal that we own already. And transfer wise again they're what we're going to get. So he has to use them.

Just messaged a guy at work about him who’s a Leeds season ticket holder. Says he’s good, but not been the same player since he collapsed at the side of the pitch whilst watching Leeds vs boro in 2019. He seems to think there is still some lasting damage to whatever that was. That's interesting! Do they know what happened? I was shocked at how poor he looked against Marine tbh. He sent me a link to a guardian article which didn’t really give much away. I still don’t really think they know what it was.

Is Clarke a left or right winger? Or is he a dribbler who can play ether wing happily?

No manager has ever really used Verlinden - so perhaps he's 'all fart and no sh!t'. I've seen his cameos and he's hardly pulling up any trees. Perhaps it's time we move on and stop assuming he's any good.
For further information, see Ramadan Sobhi.

Great logic And the logic is the same manager and coaches keep picking Vokes so they can't have that good a judgement.....
