After the failed signing of CCV in the last 6x months cant imagine Spurs will be rushing to do a loan deal with Stoke anytime soon!

Strange situation.
Spurs buy him for £10m, loan him back to Leeds as part of the deal - and Bielsa plays him for a grand total of 19 minutes.

www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jack-clarke/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/559794/verein/399Seems to have a pretty even split of games on the right wing and left wing. 600 minutes on the right and 400 minutes on the left Just wonder if we really are in for another wide player what it means for Campbell's minutes on the right and Verlinden's (and Ngoy's) minutes for that matter. If Campbell is edging towards re-signing, it'll be because he senses an opportunity to pile up quite a few starts - and where would someone like Clarke, who'd also be coming for guaranteed minutes, fit into that? It's hard to see Campbell being given the nod to lead the line any time soon

if it pushed Ince further down the pecking order I am all for that. Verlindenand Ngoy have good cameos but they were just cameos so it's hard to know if they will repeat it on a regular basis. I am convinced to ensure safety we need an improvement to our starting xi

A loan back probably seemed like a good idea at the time but these things can have the opposite effect and Jack Harrison seems first choice now anyway and Clarke probably thinks he's Billy Big Bollocks and doesn't want to scrape his knee badly!

I'm amazed we would try to do any kind of deal with that club. They've had our pants down a couple of times before! Actually I'm not amazed at all.

What's the point in bringing Verlinden back only to sign this bloke?

What's the point in bringing Verlinden back only to sign this bloke? you could then have the options of Clarke, Verlinden, McClean and even Campbell wide. It would surely mean curtains for Ince though

Tidy little player but it shouldn’t come at the expense of trying to develop our own options.
I’d fuck Ince off though.

H Wilson Palacios and Kev Wimmer, 24 million pounds to Spurs right there for absolutely nothing except an increased wage bill. I'd rather we'd just burned the £24 million outside the Club Shop than give it to Daniel Levy.

Bet Levy is desperate to push him towards Stoke and do a deal with Scholes!!!
"£10 Million should cover it Tone, to loan him 'til the end of the season!!!"
"£10 Mlion, wow, a bargain!!!"

No thanks, not what we need.
We have 3 young players of our own already at the club capable of playing on the wing.

What's the point in bringing Verlinden back only to sign this bloke? One is British, the other is foreign... Seriously though, listen to O'Neill's interview from Saturday. He spoke about Verlinden (correctly IMO) as someone who manipulates the ball rather than being powerful and pacey with and without the ball. Clarke is pacey and direct and I get the impression that O'Neill wants his forwards to be strong and direct runners rather than ball magnets, which is why I think NGoy will get more of a chance and that Verlinden might find his way back out on loan. Just a guess though.

Just the sort of player we need really. Young with huge potential.
No doubt we will let Millwall have him whilst we go balls deep for Chris Brunt.

It's the sort of business we have been conducting for ages, the obvious players stoke don't seem to even recognise. Even so, I'd rather use our own tbh, why sign this guy on loan, we arnt going down (imo) and we are not reaching the play offs so let's bed our own young wide men in and leave us on good stead for next season
