Played 11 Won 5 Drawn 1 Lost 5 Goals For 20 Goals Against 15 Goal Difference +5 Points 16 Over a full season this would equate to 67 points Gouranga.

We're awful to watch and I don't see MON as the one to take us forward long term, based on what we've shown so far. Happy to be proven wrong and I haven't completely given up on him but hopefully we survive and move on to someone long term in summer. yeah, absolutely awful.. especially today

But today attacking wise was something else. Defensively it was the same old shit. I just hope he keeps with 4231 and not the 433 shite.

I'm more optimistic now that he's shown he is willing to attack, but before today we had been generally woeful

You call it "boring", but we have scored more goals in the past 11 games than we have in any 11 game streak since Goodness knows when - At least 10 years!

I have just posted on the "expected goals " thread that even allowing for Jones period of management, we are now on course to score more goals in a season than any season since our last promotion. In the last 11 games, our score rate is on a par with a promotion team over a full season. Unfortunately points collected isn't because we concede too many.

MON record so far is almost 1.5 points per game. Over remaining 20 games that's equivalent to 29 points. We already have 24 so total would be 53, enough to stay up.
So MON "just" has to carry on what he has already done, without any improvements, to avoid relegation. Hopefully we will do better than that.

We've just scored 5! I'm not complaining just saying we've been abit cautious games in the past to try not concede goals

I think it's fair to take a look after 11 matches and these are the raw numbers: Played 11 Won 5 Drawn 1 Lost 5 Goals For 20 Goals Against 15 Goal Difference +5 Points 16 In of itself if projected through an entire season it would see us finish on 67 points. No great shakes but typically good enough for 12th/13th or so. We may not yet know the right way to go, but at least we have stopped going in the wrong direction. Good post. Given what he's inherited, MON looks like he might well rescue a situation that looked lost. Yesterday Campbell in particular got a lot closer to Vokes and the importance of winning there can't be overstated. Had we lost, we'd have gone ten points behind Huddersfield.
