Discussing players like Nzonzi makes me realise what we had and what we’ve lost- in such a short space of time.
I’m angry with myself that i didn’t cherish it more at the time and I began to take it all a bit for granted.
And now look at the shit we are lumbered with. Absolutely criminal neglect. I’d give anything to go back a few seasons and live it again.
We are staring into the abyss of league fucking one!

I’d rather keep Badou. Obviously Nzonzi is going nowhere fast and the last thing we need is a disruptive big headed prima Donna. Speechless?

Speechless? I couldnt agree more. Badou, trawled around Turkey and still cant find a buyer. Do you have a probe up your arse that vibrates when someone quotes you on this board?

Do people still struggle to understand that Nzonzi is the best midfielder we’ve had here for a very long time?
I’d take him when he’s 50 never mind now.

zonno!!! get him back in a rolls royce of a player. I'd describe him more Honda Civic, good engine and solid but not one to get you too excited.

I saw him play what was to be his last game for Galatasaray just under 2 weeks ago at their home ground vs Alanyaspor. The fans were not impressed. I was in one of the executive boxes and was sought out for my opinions on his time at Stoke, and of course Ndaiye who they all believed and hoped would come back in January. they love him.
Nzonzi was terrible and to be honest Stephen Caulker had a better game who was playing for the visitors.
Galatasaray won 1-0 but were bad. great ground and atmosphere though

A very gifted player who had that rare ability to control the tempo of a game. There does seem to be a flaw in his character as to why he never really played for a top side, he was certainly capable. So talented in fact that he made the game look very simple and easy - which on here leads to people believing him to be lazy and half hearted. Chamberlain got the same criticism.

Anyone who doesn’t rate Nzonzi doesn’t get football. You say rate nzonzi. I never didn't rate nzonzi. I just thought and still do that his performances for us weren't right up there until right at the end when he was obviously playing for a move and at the same time the whole side just performed. For someone that is constantly lauded on here as a world beater for us, I don't remember a while host of clubs banging the door down for him when be was this world beater for years for us. I more remember plenty of moans and groans from the stands in frustration for large parts. You would have thought someone like wenger would have been going mad for him. They could have done a lot worse, in fairness. In fact, they have! 😁

Can you imagine his French temperament in this league. He’d melt quicker than La Glace🍨
