Again poor penalty technique from jack when faced with a penalty. When will he stop dropping to the floor before the ball is kicked.
What is goalkeeper coach andy quy doing. Does he not coach penalty saving with Jack. Can he not see jack is making the same mistake every single time.
Sort it out Quy. Sort it out butland.

Butland is finished at any respectable level of football.

Forget the penalty, he doesn't even back himself to make a simple catch, why the hell did he get picked today, he's still clearly shot.

He must stand up and wait for the kick because he always guesses wrong!

Quy is probably one of the most respected gk coaches in the leagues and has turned down big moves to stay here.
Butland did nothing wrong tonight.

Said before it was taken he will dive to the left.
He was almost lying on the ground , no arms or legs out before the ball had left the spot.
I am no Butland Knocker but at penalties he is not the best.
I like many many others wondered why he was playing tonight. Was Rory told to play him and get him into the shop window for the Garage Sale that JC is accepting as the inevitable collapse?

He’s saved 1 of the last 32 penalties he’s faced.
It’s obviously not an area of his game he’s remotely bothered about trying to improve.

When Stoke miss a penalty, the player taking it should be hung drawn and quartered. When the opposition take a penalty and score, our goalkeeper should be hung drawn and quartered? A bit of a non sequitur don’t you think?

I mentioned this on another thread, I'm amazed the board insists on Quy staying.
Jack has consistently got worse over the past 2 seasons but Quy is kept on anyway - why?
I know he's highly respected but is he ACTUALLY doing a good job?

To be fair apart from the 2 goals he didnt do a great deal.
Yes his penalty technique is toss ,We all know that and it can be reasonably questioned as to why he was brought back tonight but he wasn't an issue at all.

On top of which CCV showed that there are amoeba with significantly more brain power than he possesses given that tackle!
