So Liverfool manager Klopp is threatening to forfeit the Carabao cup quarter final due to fixture congestion to play in the financially better world club cup in of all place Quatar. Should be banned from the English game for life simply for the suggestion and the contempt for the fans who have attended the rounds so far and the players who made a great game with great goals last night. Travel all that way with no thought for supporters, tiring the players more than another game probably. The beardo weirdo is a disgrace.

He’s bloody brilliant. We would all love him. He’s simply saying to the FA - don’t clash the date as we already have an international match on and it’s a priority. When we played Valencia way back when, If we had a league cup match put on the same day, would we all be happy to have Pulis favour the league cup and cancel the Valencia?
Why is it everyone wants to be so easily outraged.

The League Cup is a pointless competition as things stand. 50 odd thousand at Anfield and the reaction of the players says you couldn't be more wide of the mark. And as I've said, they're a big club where it is hard to get tickets so this a chance for your fan who can't normally go to go and watch. Teams down the league playing reserve sides. Attendances down the leagues being pretty poor in it. And the general attitude to it, Klopp wanted to get knocked out of it last night.

Crikey people love an over the top moan and rant on here. You can tell its half term. Lifetime ban from English football. Have a word with yourself.
All Klopp is asking for is a bit of help from the FA and Football League in regards to the game and i feel its a bluff to threaten to remove themselves.
I think some people are touchy and abit jealous as Liverpool have sucees and have Jurgen Klopp and we are stuck with Nathan Flopp.

"Banned from the English game"? As someone said above there are too many people getting too easily outraged about unimportant issues, out there. I like what Klopp brings to the English game, any way. I also like the individualism he presents in a sport full of, what I find to be, boring non-thinkers.

Just tell him, they have enough players to send a team to play in the World club cup,and a team to play in the League cup. That way all his players will be getting a game, instead of just sitting on their areas picking up their Hugh pay packets.

They should be made to play in the competion that they signed up for first, whichever that is. For example if Liverpool agreed to play this game in Asia AFTER they were already committed to playing in the Carabou Cup, then they must lose out and not play in Quatar. Or otherwise be made to play both games using their extended playing staff and kids. Why should other clubs have to move fixtures to accomodate them just because they are overstretched. Reminds me of when Man utd pulled out of the FA Cup to play in some Super cup world final and devalued the domestic competition. If clubs are based in one country, their first committment should be to domestic fixtures and competitions within that country. None of this pretentious we are International and universal twaddle.
I'm sorry, how many shirts can we sell?

He did favour the league game and put out a second string in valencia, shit on the traveling fans and some want him back Did he really shit on the fans though? We were by no means safe from relegation at that point of that particular season. Yes he chose to prioritise the forthcoming home games that followed Valencia which we won both to give us a bit of breathing space to make sure we stayed up. Hindsight is a truly wonderful thing because let’s just say he had put out our strongest side and maybe we still lost and even suffered and injury or two or something and then went on to get relegated , we would all be talking about it being Tony Pulis’ fault for years to come. Instead he gave the next manager a solid platform to add some quality to and subsequently we managed three 9th place finishes. What’s happened since then could well have happened 5 or 6 years earlier, who knows. Oh and by the way I don’t really want TP back. Although how things are going he may be the only suitable man for us soon enough.
