Of course, we will have stood down the managers we were talking to as replacements, so it'll probably be standing start if we sack him.

I honestly don't think its the answer in my opinion. Bigger problems running through the club that need sorting first. Sacking him is just a way of deflecting attention from the management.

He’ll get at least 2 more games. The board are never that decisive they won’t even have a replacement lined up. The 2 wins would have had them take their eyes off the ball.

Anyone who starts with two CBs as the full-backs in a diamond system is clearly unfit to be a professional football manager.
Has to go tonight...no point even waiting until a replacement is found- just get rid of him.

True but I do think another manager would get better results and performances. Maybe. I don't know. But its becoming unaffordable now in terms of FFP. Lambert failed and Rowett failed and now NJ failing. To me that means we should be looking at the reasons why they are all failing. All routes lead to the door of the CEO and JC if you ask me.

Not sure Rowett would have been cheap? I don't know. NJ appears to be failing, I just want to know why 3 in a row have failed.

His time is up. Based on today’s line-up, he’s lost all confidence in his own system and has no earthly clue what to do next. He’s been given far more time than anyone could reasonably expect, and we just look devoid of any ideas. Make no mistake, we are now in serious fucking trouble and there is no sign he has any clue how to correct things. He’s got to go now, whether we have a replacement or not. He’s been a complete fucking disaster, and I say that as somebody who likes the bloke and really wanted to see him succeed.

The gut-wrenching disappointment is the fact that virtually every supporter could see that Ince and McClean should be nowhere near This side after swansea result. These 2 were a big part of the problem. He is hell bent of somehow shoe-horning these two footballing ghosts into the side. That should be the main reason for his sacking. Ince has done FUCK ALL to deserve a shirt all season. He is done. This club is rudderless. 4 1/2 year contracts for a defender who can’t defend then doesn’t get in the side. Depressing calamity of a fucking club.

I am similar to you as in I like him and want him to succeed. I am not quite at your stage as I am an eternal optimist but I have to admit its getting hard not to think his time is almost done. What a mess.
