Fantastic news. A scrappy win on Tuesday and a contract extension for NJ. Wish my place of work was like that.

I always thought he would be in charge for Huddersfield as there just isn’t enough time to sort anything out.....he will go to Swansea I think and if it does happen it will be in the break? Even if he won one of them I would suggest the die is cast dependent on if they have anyone lined up? This. They’ll do it in the international break.

Huddersfield will be a very organised unit by Tuesday and the thought of mounie vs Edwards fills me with dread.
Dead mans shoes surely on this one, for the first time in years I'm really questioning whether I need to go, I'm exhausted from it all. I think this will be a no score bore for me.
Jones must go, the club is rancid and the fact that yet again due to injuries to badou and the fact Edward's clearly cannot defend we will have umpteen amounts of changes and formations yet again.

Procrastination Delay Shambles The inevitable Weak Disgrace Fall from grace Wank We’ve learnt our lesson With hindsight Poor recruitment Collapse
Symptomatic of our club. God I’m so bloody angry. Why do we always waste time?

I don't think any other owners, possibly in the world, would have made this call. Not sure whether it's very strong or incredibly weak. I'd say the drugs theyre taking are far too strong and are clouding their judgement over reallity.

So if he gets a draw he gets till xmas. But if he wins he gets till the middle of March. Jones out!

So here’s still here on Tuesday Does he drop some of the players who let him down yesterday? Would that be too many changes again? He'll play Allen, that's nailed on Think he'll change badou, Edward's, and somehow shoehorn Baath back in

I get all the hysteria. But let's suppose they haven't got the person they want, or we need lined up? What is the point of sacking the manager? We need a very good appointment. Unless that person is ready to go then I dont see any point in changing the manager with 3 days before a big game. However, this has been coming for weeks. They should have been lining someone up since August.

How do you know we aren't lining up a replacement as we speak? When Rowett left, Jones was being interviewed the following morning as the work was being down when GR was still in post. New managers take time but things are happening. The team were fully behind him last night contrary to what people think. A win is massive for confidence and if it wasn't for individual errors it would have been last night. I am 100% sure we will beat Huddersfield but time will tell.

Impotent club stewardship.
Said it two years ago, nothing will improve until the club is in the hands of football people, not successful business people playing at being football people.
They lucked out with Hughes and his three 9th place finishes before starving him of funds and motivation. He then sat arms folded mirroring the board's complacency and the downward spiral ensued.
Entirely of 'the family's' own making - JC not up to it, TS seemingly untouchable...

Interesting to see who gets it right Spinks or our ITKs who were insisting he was gone last night. Spinks of course. He's quoting the owners, ffs. I can't say that I am delighted, because it remains a deeply problematic situation. But I believe that it's the right decision, for the time being. I hope the owners are rewarded for their faith. As I've said before it takes greater balls to go against the grain of the unified belief that sacking solves than it does to sack. I hope those supporters who were behind him and the team yesterday are rewarded too.

This. They’ll do it in the international break. He should have gone in the last one. This season now is really about staying up. If it takes two more games, which we don’t get any points in, but means we can get a better quality manager, then I’ll take that.

Did you hear he’d gone Paul? Nope. I was convinced that he would be though. I think the board have completely lost the plot. I'll be making good on my £100 donation to DLT though. Dave Lee Travis?

OK so what happens if we get a scrappy win against a side as bad as us, and then get rinsed by Swansea and Fulham? That would still be 5 points and 1 win in 12. The longer we wait the harder it'll be to attract someone half decent. Yep....beating Huddersfield could be far more dangerous than losing. Prolonging the inevitable. Fuck me these are dark days. Fuck.

How we laughed at the Mackems We are heading for an even worse fall from grace led by a manic bible basher, aided and abetted by a hopeless beancounter, and the runt of the Coates’ litter Denise is not involved directly, but surely the dragging of Stoke - and by inference her company - through the mud must soon make her act in some way

I don't think any other owners, possibly in the world, would have made this call. Not sure whether it's very strong or incredibly weak. It's incredibly strong. We should be proud of these owners. Even if time were to prove them wrong. I think you're right. No other owners that I can think of would have made that decision.
